Of course. It is the connection of the every single human on this planet to every single other human, assuming they have an internet connection of course. It is a global system of communication and information that has connected all of us.

Hell yes it does, it's the "information age" and benefits have come from this age of information, however there are downfalls to the internet, for example the "craig's list killer" or others, or certain uses that some people have used to manipulate people and do crimes to them, ect. Further, I think there is more upside to the internet being used by societies than the downside; examples are we can communicate with people we normally wouldn't see on the street or some other place, we can research without having to go to a library, we can look at images without taking pictures ourselves, we can look at video/media, it's great.

yes. I mean the "powers that be" control everything else. Which is why they push for more internet control. But things like Tor and 2IP make it hard for them to censor everything(And I am not talking about the gross stuff) Did you know in the (fake) Charleston shooting he was not raised racist and the internet was blamed for "Radicalizing" him? All mainstream media is bias and mostly lies, we can all agree on that that's why the internet is a must so we can connect with millions of others and make our own conclusions. Sadly, most people do not even know what they don't know...
