I can't speak for other tribes but am pretty certain the Cherokee casinos aren't mob controlled. I know the chief and tribal council members personally. Baker is very mildly wealthy, but got that previous to being chief through his furniture store and being a part of a lawyer family. He didn't suddenly get a bigger house and/or more stuff when casinos became legal in Oklahoma. He even sold the chief's private jet saying it was a waste of money. He has a nice home, but nothing mind blowing. He drives a nice truck, but no porsches or lamborginis or anything like that. And Smith and Byrd are Upper Middle class at best. The rest of the council are middle class to lower middle class. Side: No
