Yes, but that just means you have plates that take in more heat. I used to have plates like that. I don't exactly how to describe it scientifically but I am going to guess that it absorbs more of the microwaves and this may happen due to the material it is made from. Side: Yes
Yea and I also hate when the outer edges of the food are boiling hot but the center is frozen cold. I like eating pot pies for breakfast. When I eat the outer edges and get to the cold center, I usually put it back in the microwave for about 3 minutes. By the time it comes out, everything is steaming hot and the crust is crunchy and good. Mmmm. Mouth watering. Side: Yes
