It remains to be seen, he isn't sworn in yet. But his rhetoric and actions through the campaign point to authoritarianism.

"When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag, and carrying a cross." Sinclair Lewis

Trump is wrapped in the flag, Pence is carrying the cross.

I don't think you'll find a "progressive" who like Putin, and HIS form of communistic socialism, but Trump seems to love the guy and how he runs things. Putin is playing him like a violin and he's so arrogant he can't (or doesn't want to) see it! I don't know of a "progressive" that likes ANYTHING about fascism OR communism. America has been living under democratic socialism for years ... her BEST years.

Progressives are having a fit over Trumps steering us toward fascism AND communism. He thumbs his nose at our democratic system, wont follow its rules, wont listen to its people (unless they agree with him) and puts more faith in Putin and Assange ... and you conservatives call US communists!?? YOU are leading U.S. to fascism and communism!

Side: Yes.

Ridiculous. Fascism has more to do with the collective which is a hallmark of the left. Furthermore, Obama is the one who rules by executive order thus quieting the voice of the people.

Obama was still short of Bush, and no where near Reagan.

He would have to be a dictator, which he's far from given that he hasn't even assumed office yet.
