I looked at a lot of flat earth stuff just to see their logic and really gave them the benefit of a doubt that maybe they are right as I am well aware of conspirators bent on world domination.....but why would it matter if people believe the Earth is round or not? What would they gain by fooling everybody into believing the Earth is round (if the flat-Earthers were right). Besides seeing no benefit for people who might be trying to fool the masses into believing the world it round, it just does not add up. Everything we see in nature shows the Earth, moon, stars....all are basically spherical. I'm surprised that you, being a Missler supporter, believe the earth is flat. Does Missler believe it? P.S.....I do believe the moon landing was a hoax, I do not believe people have ever been on the moon or ever will be on the moon. Side: The Earth is round

Look out at the horizon when you see a ship go out over the horizon. It just doesn't disappear all at once the bottom "disappears" first then the rest because it's going down (down is a relative term not a definitive one). There is no good evidence for a flat earth and the only evidence either has been debunked or hasn't been backed up by anybody reputable. The earth is round and it's honestly a shame that some people still believe it's flat. i mean come on even the ancient Egyptians and the Greek knew it was round Side: The Earth is round

The evidence is certainly not more reasonable for the Earth being flat. That's pure lunacy. I personally believe that the "Earth is flat!!!" debate (if you can even call this idiocy such) is too stupid to even bother wasting too much time on, so enjoy this link: Side: The Earth is round
Here's my 2 cents on the stuff from the link you posted. 1. One thing to note is that the sun and moon are traveling at slightly different speeds. Otherwise there would be no eclipses of any kind 2. The horizon issue is pretty simple. If a ship were to seemingly "go off the horizon", get a good pair of binoculars and look in the direction of the ship and it appears again. Once it "disappears", get a decent telescope and do the same thing and the ship will once again appear 3. It is true that there are different star constellations on different hemispheres. They sound like a good argument for a spherical earth. However, the same thing could be done if you were to put some kind of a bowl over a piece of paper. If you are at the northern part of the bowl, you would see certain constellations and if you were at the southern end of the bowl, you would see other constellations. If you notice, the only constellation you can see regardless of where you are in the world is the orion constellation 4. All this proves is that the sun casts shadows with different lengths depending on the position of the sun and the objects casting a shadow. Also, this argument is assuming that the sun is always somewhere behind the sticks. Even then, that still doesn't prove that the earth is round. If you put two sticks in the ground and get a flashlight, unless the flashlight is directly above one of the sticks, the shadows will always point in different directions 5. If we were to take this line of reasoning and run with it, all it would mean is that the farthest you could see, at best, would be the equator. I've usually seen this line of reasoning be used in favor of a flat earth and not a round earth 6. This is done in 2 parts so I'll deal with each one separately. a. This seems like the round earthers think the flat earthers have this idea that the earth is just a flat piece of paper with a light source directly above it. Also, things falling off the edge of the earth was just a fairy tale and never actually considered legitimate b. Is it the curvature or did you tell yourself that it was? 7. Just because the other planets are spherical, that doesn't necessitate a spherical earth 8. How would the concept of a timezone be any different on a flat earth? The problem with this thinking are its assumptions. The first one is that people are just assuming that flat earthers think the earth is just a flat piece of paper with continents on it. The second assumption is that the sun is shining on the entire thing. Its observably and verifiably false 9. This is making the assumption that the center of gravity on a flat earth is the north pole, thus making objects go more sideways the farther it is from the center. Just because any object that falls goes straight to the ground, that doesn't necessitate a center of gravity or a round earth 10. The pictures from space have been proven to be composite images Side: The Earth is round
