Ethics: Domestic Violence

A committed three year relationship. A girl manipulated, neglected, lied to, promised the world, mentally and verbally abused for years. She spent the relationship giving faith and last chances to a manipulative and convincing man. After three years she finds out he's a stranger, and a complete fraud, inclined towards infidelity, constantly broken promises and possibly other men as well. He's said things like, "dumb whore," and "fucking cunt," "I'd sell you but your worthless," "kill yourself," "you're death would never make the papers." Words he apologized for profusely, but repeated in time one way or another. The girl finds out about his years of betrayal, and slaps him after warning him twice explicitly she would do it if he tried to touch her one more time after him coming home at noon from the night before. He ignores her a third time and grabs at her which is returned with a prompt smack in the face. He then proceeds to beat her then chase her then beat her some more. Strangling/suffocating, kicks, slams, threw her face into a glass door etc. This man took her dedication, loyalty, body and love for years without revealing who he truly was. instead of being honest he chose to lie for full access to her body and her heart for years knowing full well she would have never consented if she'd known how he lied to her daily. Who is the abuser?

Only the man was unreasonable.
