Eugenics has been disproved multiple times - just because there are people with more or less genetic strengths doesn't mean those with less should be culled. Either way those with more strengths are going to reproduce - so it doesn't make sense to just kill off the rest.

As an Evolutionary Biologist I think I can help you out with this argument.

First, the claim the eugenics has been disproved to be viable is a patently false statement. Perhaps you can give us a source or a link for your opinion on this? Since that is al it is: your own opinion. NOT a fact.

And I for one totally disagree with you. I feel eugenics can be a valuable tool in improving the quality of the homo sapien species.

Look........If done right, it can change the world! How is that a bad thing? Why does nature get the only say? There is NOTHING natural about humans! We altered the planet, changed the landscape and have selectively bred many animals for OUR advantage.

The next step is genes of course! In a way we perform a kind of eugenics everyday! When we choose a friend, a life partner or a food. You are weeding out a trait you like in that friend/partner or food and sticking to it! Imagine if we did this for diseases? Finding something that does harm and removing it. However the atrocities of the past MUST be acknowledged and this system MUST be optional with no external pressure. Remember just because some in the past abused it doesn't mean we can become cave people and not explore genetics and alter genes and yes allow some to delete or select traits. Like anything it can be abused but that's life.

There will always be diversity and some will dissent to the idea of eugenics (which is fine because it provides balance) but like the cosmos and the deep sea it is worth exploring! Also when is the world fair or balanced?

We try to provide the ILLUSION of fairness and balance but is there really? Nature is cruel (ask the baby antelope just eaten) so if we are to gain an advantage instead of waiting for thousands of years of evolution then we have to act now.

Yes, we need another Hitler now, and this time it must be a world ruler and he will take care of us, weed out the bad and keep the good and that's what's best so the Earth can be preserved and humanity will not become extinct before we (or they, assuming most of us will be Eugenically removed to keep the population healthy)....before we learn how to be masters of the universe like the wonderful aliens who zip in and out of our space like gods. It's all too beautiful, how survival of the fittest keeps us going while our organic molecules are recycled by the bacteria and fungi so we forever remain part of the circle of life. Hooray for the next Hitler who will euthanize most of us and bring the world into a safe half billion or so in population ....what are we waiting for? Why don't we just draw numbers 1-10, and only the people who get number 1 must carry on the task of preserving the earth and humanity.........the other nine can be ground up and used for food so the fittest who survived wont have to worry too much about keeping farms going.

Now our brains have been washed clean and we can understand the beauty of nature as life evolves and we go along with it like lemmings throwing ourselves over the cliff. We are wonderful like lemmings....it's all too beautiful, I think I'm going to weep for the beauty of it all.
