Euthanasia for the mentally ill
Should euthanasia be an option for those who do not wish to continue living because of a mental illness?

I think Euthanasia should be allowed for any adult who is deemed sane enough to make this decision , that rules out nearly everyone as it would be argued if you’re mentally ill how can you reasonably make such a decision ? If one is sane by every standard and decided life was not worth living and want to be Euthanized well then no doubt the “experts “ would deem him /her “ insane “ because why would a “ rational “ person make such a decision ? 1

Derm, you remember the Tide Pods challenge, right? You act as if today's college population wouldn't take advantage of legal euthanasia. I could, however, see euthanasia being "legal" so anyone wanting it could be tested and rehabilitated. But, this would be decidedly expensive. |
