He likes to exploit widespread racial myths in order to play the victim. I'd be fine with him claiming to be Jewish if it was a religious choice, but he makes this claim based on racial grounds which don't actually exist in scientific reality. The idea of Jews as a race is not supported by the facts and only exists today because people in the past have taken the Bible literally. Unfortunately, the people who keep perpetuating this myth are very powerful and ExCon is happy to buy into it for his own perceived benefit. He wants to be interpreted as a victim because he wants to occupy the moral high ground during arguments. The truly sad thing is that the topic gives him common ground with the Zionist fascists involved with the Republican Party, which also makes it easier for them to convince him of other fallacies in their quest to conflate religion, race and politics. 1

It's a good thing that no fact or extrapolation of fact exists in science proving or even indicating any religious belief is the basis of intelligence and in fact, is...quite the opposite. Ethnically, jews are semites as are arabs, brothers under the skin. So there must be equally intelligent muslims as such assessments are far too subjective. 1

Studies have generally found Ashkenazi Jews to have an average IQ in the range of 107 to 115, and Ashkenazi Jews as a group have had successes in intellectual fields out of proportion to their numbers. I think it is quite obvious that, had they converted to Islam instead, you would not be using that as a springboard for the false claim that Muslims are more intelligent on average. Furthermore, the "out of proportion successes" are explainable in a variety of ways other than higher inherent intelligence. No mention is made of the fact that Jews generally come from economically stable backgrounds and hence find it much easier to obtain good schooling than say, Muslims living in Afghanistan. Eastern European Jews came to the US and had lower IQs. Their stats changed over time. We don’t fully understand the interrelation between IQ and culture, but they are not completely independent. I do t have the data, but I’m willing to bet that Muslim Americans from the Middle East have higher average IQs than the General American population. Just based on how many Muslim dentists and doctors there seem to be. The Lebanese diaspora has resulted in outsized Lebanese success wherever they go.
