Yes facebook is over rated because you have to pay money to play the games such as Farmville.

Frankly, I have nothing against Facebook. I use it to keep in touch with people, see what's going on with my friends (I will admit that I feel out of the loop whenever I haven't gone on in a while), and...well, really to play Words With Friends more than anything else. :) But is it overrated? Of course it is. And it's certainly not a necessity.

Yes Facebook is over rated. Even tho I don't use it, I still won't use it ever. A lot of people on my school are addicted to facebook and they can't go one day without checking their facebook to see what is going on.

I won't use it because if I ever get a job the person that is interviewing me will ask if I have a facebook and if I do have a facebook they will ask for my user name and password and log onto my facebook and look what kind of person I really am.

Of course it's over rated. There is no doubt that it is a fast and effective way of communication but with the aid of mobile phones, makes communication so much quicker. Facebook is just full of loads of adverts these days, and games.
