Falcon HTV-2: Do we need it? Can we afford it?
Future generations of Americans will pay for this with a lower standard of living via inflation and less government services to pay for this. It's your money, it's you and your kids future. This is a wonderful example of the Military-Industrial Complex and "The total influence -- economic, political, even spiritual -- is felt in every city, every State house, every office of the Federal government ... endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted."
"Falcon HTV-2 is DARPA's second test flight after a few changes were made when the first attempt failed in April of 2010 and crashed into the ocean just nine minutes after takeoff. The craft was never recovered. A design flaw was suspected by engineers as the cause of the malfunction.
If the Falcon HTV-2 fails again, the project will be shelved indefinitely."
How about shelving it now? I'm sure it costs billions & billions of dollars to make. Who the hell do we need to bomb within a hour's notice? US military is already deployed world-wide.
