Fast food restaurants do more Harm than Good.

Fast food restaurants are all around us. Are they good for us, or are they bad?

We've all heard the same old story of fast food being bad for our health, but do they harm other aspects of our life as well?

They do more Harm.

The only reason fast food is inexpensive is because of the cheap ingredients: high fat meat, refined grains, and added sugar and fats, none of them healthy for you. The food is also usually very high in claories, sodium, cholestrol, and fat.

Fast food, like burgers, need mass production of beef, chicken, and pork, and they many not be sanitary animals.

The portions served are larger than the recommended portion for most foods, and the cost is low, so consumers think they are being given a great offer. Fast food chains often don't alert customers of the dangerous amount of calorie and fat content in their foods.

Plus, Japan didn't have obesity problems until they began consuming a lot of fast food like the Americans.

Obesity problems in the US is only furthered by fast food. It is estimated that 20% of Americans are obese. The obesity rate of children has doubled, too, over 20 years. Children even get 40% of their meals from fast food restaurants! Fast food over a long period of time can lead to promotion of diabetes, sleep apnea, respiratory illnesses, heart diseases, high blood pressure, all because of obesity. About 200,000 Americans die yearly from these causes, and around $117 billion is used for health care.

food has their unique taste with containing different quantities of oil , as these where fast food restaurants offer customers fatty food with high quantity oil , which can affect the fast food lovers health , as it is hard to lose weight.

Fast food lovers have to sacrifice their life for the food and most customers come as if their wearing a mascot of a burger (fatness)

Fast foods contain lots of ingredients that do cause harm to your body and can also causes sicknesses such as diabetes and high blood sugar (hyperglycemia) that damage your body. Some foods/ingredients fast food restaurants may serve can make people become obese. Childhood obesity is something that should be stopped by not eating junk food and a lot of fast foods as well, seeing that theydon't do your body any good. The only good thing they can do is satisfy you or your taste buds. Other than that, it only causes trouble. Sometimes, it can even cause you to have eating disorders. It has been proven that too much fast food in our bodies can cause us to have eating disorders such as bulimia, binge eating, and partial syndrome. This a reason you should not consume/intake so much fast food.

Of course they do more harm ! Does anyone know how the chicken nuggets are made ? Well ....I guess I'll explain :

Okay . SOOO . The chiken nuggets are amde by mechanically seperating the chicken . What they do when they seperate the chicken , is they pull all the feathers off . Then the chicken gets carried down a convaier belt , in a chomping thing . The the chicken gets CRUNCHED down . Bones and everything . And onced that happenes , they put the mush in a bucket and shape nuggets . Then they bleach the meat and deep fry them .....

I guess that was more about how some of the food is MADE instead of how harmfull it is , but when you think about it , your eating chiken bones and bleach .

The fast food companies and restaurants are really actually just deceiving people just to gain money and they don't care about the health of the human population. The fast food companies and restaurants won't ever stop selling their unhealthy food options. And they will make money no matter what. Because they don't care about you and they know that their food will cause or have bad consequences for your health but they only care about the profit of their business and how it will be beneficial or a benefit to them. We as people and consumers it is up to us to control ourselves because we don't have to eat their food cause it is our choice and we can to choose eat healthy. And not their choice since they can't force us to eat their food. Also we must take it upon our own personal responsibility not blame them because it is our faults and not their fault.

Not all fast food restaurants are high in the bad ingredients.

Fast food restaurants have already improved a lot. There are now more selections of salads, fruit, pastas, and sugarless beverages. The restauratns aren't hiding what's in the food; there are nutritional information posted.

They provide a place to get a quick meal at a relatively low price. It's a place to go for an occasional break from tiresome cooking

Eating fast food once in a while isn't going to harm you. It's all about the consumer's decision about how much to eat. It's your choice of what to order and choosing better stuff on the menus. Fast food restaurants are not responsible for the customers' lact of self-control.

Not everything in a fast food resrant does harm because if you take apart your buger not every thing on the burger is greasy or deep fried, and if you take a long look at the menu there is side salads insted of fries and 100% fruit juice not just pop.

You said so yourself cheese pizza and bread sticks is a total of 1387 calories. That's enough calories for 2 days!! Your calorie intake each day is supposed to be up to 900 calories..only!1!!! About 300 for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A chicken club sandwich, large fry, medium frosty is a total of 1400 calories!! That's more than enough calories for a day...and that's only one meal!!

And remember..you said all of this not me!!

I dont understand why fast food restaurants do any harm to their customers, and on the other hand they provide the possibility of saving up some time for you to spend elsewhere, if you are one of those whose priority for using time rests other than in eating.

The fast food restaurants save time in makng the foods, by already pre cooking the foods and making them almost ready in most cases and store them. They leave the final stage of the cooking unfinished, so that when a customer approaches, they would be able to make the required combination and serve it up to the customer as per his requirement.

Saving the waiting time for preparation of the food, is an efficient and productive way of using your time.

Well you know what I say...that's just you being a lazy bum thinking you don't have to pay as much or you don't have to cook. You sit around and keep ating that garbage..see what happens to you. While you sit around relying on fast food restaurants, i'll be the one who can relax, because i'm skinny and not a fat ass like you!!

Eating fast foods doesn't make you a fat. There are many factors that makes a person skinny: diet, metabolism, and exercise are the three that i can think of.

If you exercise everyday, then fast food won't become a problem unless what you are eating is not nutritional.

A crispy chicken sandwhich from mcdonals sure have unnecessary extra fat, carbs, and cholestrol. But depending on what your body needs and how much and how hard you exercise, the extra fat, carbs, and chloestrol may not be bad.

People say fast food is not good because it's not fresh, its all pre made or frozen, its made with carbs, bread crumbs, corn flour, potato, eggs, milk. vegetable oils, sugar etc.

I don't believe this is true because a lot of the food we buy at grocery stores contain carbs, corn flour, milk, eggs, vegetable oil, sugar, and others. frozen foods are sold at everyday grocery stores and in fact, most people feed their kids fast foods as well frozen foods. Do you think if it was so bad for you they would be selling it in your home town grocery store or for that matter letting your kids eat it? Many people are a stickler in being healthy where there can be no fat in their diet but if they have an extremely low fat healthy diet, some fat can be good for their body. Eating fast food is better than not eating at all. Plus not all fast foods are bad.. Take the menu for example. Some of the items on the menu as healthy. McDonald's has healthy apples, puddings, yogurts, fruits and walnuts, and some salads are healthy as well people say that a bunch of diseases and illnesses can occur from eating fast food but what you don't understand is that a person can get sick from eating anything or just from lack of exercise or for just not taking care of themselves. Fast food is not the fault of that. people say that most of the frozen foods that are in grocery stores are natural and cooked fresh and then just put in the fridge to be cook again after, that's true to an extent my dear because not all frozen foods they sell in grocery stores are cooked freshly before putting in the freezer. So if that kind of food is just like fast food why not go to the fast food place considering its a lot cheaper than grocery store prices. This is a problem of responsibility. If people go out and eat three cheese burgers you cannot blame the people supplying the burgers for their heart attack. So its not the fast food shops fault it’s the buyer who eats too much

and becomes obese. Its their own responsibility. If people choose to eat it in huge amounts, it's their problem. So mainly Fast food is Cheaper, better, tastier, quicker and sometimes even healthier.
