Female child is better than male child

Female

Side Score: 24

There are plenty of studies done in this area (just google it) and females normally come out on top as an over all average. It is thought that because females mature faster they take a more responsible approach to learning in earlier grades, this is not an absolute rule but is true in the majority of cases. As for males however when they mature they generally catch up in third level education.

At least in India it is. Females here turn out to be more responsible, more reliable and have proven to be more sensible.

A female child is better than a male child, in term of soft and tender mind, female are on the soft side than male. Talking about home assistance to parents, they are on the parents side. male are often known to be lazy in assisting parents in house work. So female are also better in this regard.

We women have the gift of easy discernment. We also have that motherly tendence towards people so we are more better than men

If we're talking about my child if I were to lose my mind and not pull out (condoms are gay)

I'd rather a boy.

Not because I'm in love with my family name or any boys are better than girls bs,

but raising a girl would be a pain in the ass what with the dolls and the crying.

There is no "better" child. "Better" at what? Sports: Male. Education: Female (apparently, though I would like to point out that that there are more male geniuses than females, but whatever.)

If you were to extensively analyse each individual characteristic, I'm sure different analyses would produce different results.

But seeing as I do have a penis, it is my obligation to vote for the males.

Historically, females were not given as many educational opportunites as males. Thousands and thousands of years of genetic breeding may PERHAPS account for the disportion. Even today there is still an attitude that encourages the male over the female...in just about ALL areas of society. Child-rearing is considered the lowest job, yet it is actually the hardest. Plus, I'd like to see a guy push a canteloupe out his butt and not cry!

Biologically, the male has a much higher amount of testosterone, which is the hormone that controls agression. It might explain why we are constantly hurting and killing each other. It certainly explains why females are dominated over.

True, but the question is in the present tense.

In Western society? Pff, no.

Child-rearing is considered the lowest job, yet it is actually the hardest.

Prove that maternity is harder than being a lumberjack, or a prostitute, or sticking eyes onto Hello Kitty dolls.

Plus, I'd like to see a guy push a canteloupe out his butt and not cry!

I prefer taking things in my butt... and crying isn't the reaction ;)

Yes. So males are better?

We are all equally unique. There is no better nor worse. There is just differences in abilities of man and a woman. However, in general we need each other. Why is male child is so important especially in Asian countries? Nowadays people do not pay a lot of attention to the gender, but in old times it was significantly important to have a baby boy in order to have a heir.

Most people want at least one boy in the family so that the last name can be passed down- that seems like a selfish superfluous thing to want BUT when you finally reach that point of age in your life when leaving a piece of yourself behind suddenly becomes important it is a much easier concept to grasp

Males don't cry as much as girls and they're tougher. Girls are more sensative and will cry A LOT! Guys are better and since they aren't as emotional, it'll be easier to take care of them. Other than crying, there aren't a lot of things to worry about since each child is different and so are the parents tolerance. Two other things to take into consideration are bloodline and last name. Later, a mans sperm will make another kid and will therefor continue the bloodline. Also, a male will carry on the family name.

I wonder if that is over generalization on your part to say that males do not cry as much as girls and that they are a lot tougher. If you are saying that girls are emotional and hence a lot harder to be taken care of, how about boys being too insensitive to their parents' needs and showing less concern to the parents? You may like to consider this.

In fact, the very factor of being emotional may actually mean girls are able to think for their parents and understand the hardships that parents take in order to take care of them. Then again, I do not mean that boys are unable to understand their parents, as opposed to what you did there for females, I am just suggesting that it can also be easier to take care of girls considering the very fact that they could 'feel' for others.

Secondly, the idea about the male sperm making another kid is foolishly ignoring the fact that you need another egg to produce a baby. All the stuff about bloodline is what has led to polygamy in the past. Also, I am unable to understand what is so important about carrying on the family name.

Instead of thinking that it is better to have a female or male child, I think it is more important to consider having a child who is sensible. Female or male does nothing to affect the sensibility of the child, if i may argue it this way.
