Feminist Groups Silent as Women Protest Real Oppression in Iran
American feminist groups are gearing up for a repeat of last year's "Women's March," but as their sisters take to the streets to protest a truly oppressive fundamentalist government seeking true equal rights American feminist organizations are disgustingly silent. The symbol of the Iranian freedom protests this time around is even a woman who threw off her veil in front of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and stood defiantly as freedom fighters massed around her.
True feminists should be rallying to these women's cause after all the fight for global equality isn't about cheaper tampons or correct pronouns or poorly knitted pussy hats. It's about making sure the world is safe for women to truly be equal to men and the Islamic fundamentalist country of Iran has for decades, kept women as second class citizens dictating what they can wear whom they can communicate with and what they can do with their lives.
But while women in Iran are fighting for their freedom the leaders of the women's rights movement in America are where on this issue ?

You must be aware that there's a hierarchy of feminine oppression. Female subjugation is automatically worse in any free democratic society such as, or perhaps in particular, America, whereas accusations of the oppression of women in despotic or third world countries are no more than the idiosyncratic beliefs or impressions of band of deranged lesbian psychotics. 10

Nah, you just support Feminists and the Democrat Party while they keep No Restriction abortions legal. You are a complete phoney! Don't you ever get tired of making excuses for your inhumanity? When we all meet God on judgement day, you can try and explain to him how you were supposedly prolife while supporting those that kept No Restriction abortions legal. We are talking about supporting the killing of babies God already knows in the womb! How far do you think that will get you? Your logic would be the same as a German who said he did not support the holocaust of Jews. He simply kept those in power who supported the killing of millions of Jews. You are beyond a waste of time to debate. Why on earth would I ever waste my tme in a private debate with the likes of you? Don't feel alone because there are millions of other phonies claiming to be prolife while voting for the Democrat Party of No Restriction abortions. The fact that people have been and still are ignoring the sexist atrocities in the Muslim countries, is disheartening. I am a feminist. Yet I agree that there is very little difference between male and female rights in most developed countries. Women aren't oppressed in Europe and the US. But all the women in the Middle-eastern countries such as Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. are very oppressed. People can't ignore what is happening there anymore. 1

The fact that people have been and still are ignoring the sexist atrocities in the Muslim countries, is disheartening. Now come on. It has been less than a hundred years since the developed Christian countries had exactly the same problem. In fact, America presently has a misogynist for a president, so one could legitimately argue that you need to get your own house in order (assuming you are in fact American) before criticising other cultures. I agree that there is very little difference between male and female rights in most developed countries. That is exactly because they are developed. You can't compare undeveloped countries with developed countries and expect to get the same results. I'm more concerned with the economic atrocities committed by developed nations which keep undeveloped nations in poverty, and hence perpetuate the need people of those nations have for religion and religious culture. 11

Now come on. It has been less than a hundred years since the developed Christian countries had exactly the same problem Ah, so it is a problem. And your solution is "well some other group was doing it hundreds of years ago!" so ignore it because it makes me feel good to pet foreigners who could be dangerous on the head. 5

I am not American, but I agree that Donald Trump is a sexist. Yet, I am sure we have the power to help women in those underdeveloped countries. Sadly, all we're doing right now is sitting and watching. The people in power should try to help stop this. Developed countries should try to help underdeveloped ones, not hinder their development. 1

"In fact, America presently has a misogynist for a president, so one could legitimately argue that you need to get your own house in order (assuming you are in fact American) before criticising other cultures." It DESERVES TO BE CRITICISED. The fact that women in the Middle East are forced to MARRY their rapist is disgusting. A sixteen-year-old girl committed suicide to avoid marrying the man who assaulted her. Ooh, and get this: an Egyptian lawyer named Nabih al-Wahsh said that women who wore revealing clothes (such as ripped jeans) deserve to be raped. 1
