Whether it’s a conspiracy or just a coincidence, is it weeding out the weak and helping with overpopulation No. The most effective solution to over population is modernization. Modernized nations have steady population numbers after accounting for immigration. As poor countries become wealthier, their population growth slows and eventually stops. This is because people have more effective means of birth control and a desire to have fewer children stemming from a rich social and professional life. Modernization is not helped in any way by junkies on the corner jonesing for a fix. They often do die from their addiction, but they are first made into a hindrance to everything and everyone around them, including the modernized society. Yessir! It's clearly the duty of government to PROTECT the right to life and liberty.
