For or against Apple (Macs)?
I am half asleep while writing this.. but I am definitely for Apple. In fact, I'm using a Mac right now and it's amazing. However, the latest iPhone was quite a dissapointment. I sure do miss Steve Jobs.

If you don't like errors or viruses, the Linux is what you want. It's the power of Windows, the stability of a Mac and the hackiness of well... Of Linux. It's completely free too. Not just free as in price, but all your rights are completely protected. It's also a LOT faster than Mac OS X. Like, a LOOOOT. It can be installed on ANY PC, because PCs only indicate the fact that it's a computer. Any OS can be installed. Macs are locked down prisons you buy your way into, and there's no reason to ever want to use one, unless you're an "artist". Cause Mozart and van Gogh used Apple, right? Side: Against. Hate it.

I'm actually in between in my opinion on Macs. I think Steve Jobs was a very balanced and brilliant man. Since his passing Apple has seemed to become a tad... off, more in direction that Microsoft has taken. The difference being, almost no video games can be played on Macbooks, meaning Apple is going down a bad road in my opinion in relation to computers. With that said, though, I would still love to own a high-quality iPad someday, and when not looping music from a streaming website, I prefer to get my music from iTunes. Side: For. Love Apple.

Seriously? Let's use Steam statistics, last time I checked around 95% of people use Windows. Now, if you were trying to sell as many copies as possible of your game, would you go with the 4% mac userbase or get it to a bigger audience? If you are talking about the Apple store, yes it has a lot of games but most of those are expensive. As more and more people realise that Android is the better phone, they switch to it so more developers are developing for both Android and iOS. Don't forget that most paid apps on the Apple store are free on the Android store, so overall is superior. Side: Against. Hate it.

There are different types of Macs, so you don't have to pay 1000 pounds for a smaller-sized Mac. Also, maybe you could elaborate when you say that Macs are slow and messy. In my opinion, Windows is slow, especially if you install a lot of programs in it. Windows also needs this anti-virus stuff that was really annoying to update and install in my opinion, whereas Macs are quite fast, and so far, I've never had to install any anti-virus program. Side: For. Love Apple.

I have Windows 7 ultimate, never had any problems. One of my friends has OS, it crashes a lot. We have roughly the same amount of software installed, he actually has better processors. And trust me, when you're the grand pirate I am, you're gonna need anti-virus, no matter what operating system you have. Side: Against. Hate it.
I'd far prefer to go with Linux on a $50 craigslist used computer from 2002 than a brand new Mac. Of course, if it was free, then I would simply sell the Mac straight away and enjoy my money. Or just buy a nice PC with it and dual boot Windows and Linux for gaming. Side: Against. Hate it.

I agree, you could also call them sheep. They really annoy me. They will buy anything of Apple's just because they have been brainwashed by the marketing campaign. I have a couple of friends who are like this, they don't look at the specs or compare it to the other phones, if they see an advert about the new apple iPhone 5 for example, and it says it has a double faster processor bigger screen they'll just repeat that over and over again not comparing to the other phones, same with macs. I feel my IQ dropping whilst I watched this video. The IQ of all Apple sheep

First of all mac is quite expensive compared to other phones whose function is almost the same.
Second is that it has so much hype that if you have one, you are considered rich, classy, or whatever of that non-scene. Third is that mac has a fast update of consoles compared to other phone brands. It just makes the one you bought seem less of value. Lastly is of the numerous apps that should be bought. In order to maximize the console you have to buy numerous apps, then when you get bored you will delete it to make room for more games and memory. Thus it is quite a waste of money. One can become an achiever and classy without it. Side: Against. Hate it.

There really is no doubt the PC is the overall better and more practical computer. Not to mention less expensive. Any PC OS (Windows, Linux, whatever) is better also. The only benefits mac has over PC is it is better for graphic design and is better protected from viruses because of the fact that 90+% of all computer viruses are written for PCs. Side: Against.
