Thank you for your contribution to this discussion. I'm sure you have some love in your heart for somebody in this world. That proves that God has not left the Earth in a loveless state. You may not accept the proof, but that does not change anything other than the state of your existence. Right now you exist in the state of being able to believe God loves you. If you steadfastly insist through your dying that God does not love you, you will find yourself in a state where there is nothing good to be enjoyed, appreciated, or viewed. There is nothing good to be found when you are burning in a fire unless you are a Christian being burned to death at the stake and you know you are on the verge of entering heaven.

God proves His love for you by giving you time. Your time is limited. You will believe God loves you before it's too late or you will find it forever impossible to believe God loves you.

Allow me on behalf of God to poke around inside your head a little. Something happened that was emotionally painful for you, or you were disappointed in something which was emotionally painful, and you know that God being all-knowing, all-present, and all-powerful could have changed things, and still could change things, to relieve the pain and confusion and make everything better and good forever. That is what He wants to do for you but you must trust Him to do it His way in His time. You have to admit that you do not deserve any more time or you will never understand God. He's giving you time you do not deserve because He is trying to draw you in to reason with Him, and stop reasoning against Him, and believe that He loves you because He loves you. If you want to go your own way and do your own thing for and by yourself by and for your own power and desire, God will let you do that because He loves you just the way you are and will NOT force you to change anything about yourself. It breaks His heart to see you going away from Him. He wants you to come to Him and trust Him and be saved from Hell and have eternal life. God is calling you. He sent me to deliver the message. You and I are here NOT by coincidence but by the hand of God. Time is short.

He has done all He can do to prove His love for you. If you won't believe God loves you, there is nothing He can do that will convince you He loves you. Don't tell me you can't believe God loves you. You can believe it if you want to because it's true. God loves you.

The debate was created to discuss the fact that God loves you. It's about you, not about your opinion of God toward other people. Most people are avoiding discussing their true feelings of being unloved. It's not about "God did not relieve the suffering of people in the jungle in Africa"....it's about "God is not making me feel better, not giving me the things I want for myself, taking away the things I enjoyed...stuff like that. People choose to believe God does not love them because they generally are crybabies throwing temper tantrums for not getting what they want when they want it. I'm trying to get people to act like adults to discuss those personal issues they have.

Once in a while I'll find somebody who is honest enough to say something like "God does not love me or he would not have let my dog get run over by a car yesterday". It's personal. People who want to avoid the personal aspect of God's love are not going to be able to carry on a conversation with me here.

Hell uses as a proper noun, the name of a specific place, not a cuss word, and always spelled with a capital "H"

Argue about how you know God loves you or argue about why you believe He does not love you. I have banned nobody for saying they believe there is no God. Abide by the rules and you can say anything you want to. No opinions relating to the topic are disallowed as long as the rules are followed. I am very pleased with those who strongly disagree with me and have followed the rules in voicing their opinions. I thank them for making this a good discussion. Now you can join or watch, but don't keep arguing with me like you did in this post, trying to make it personal with me rather than focusing on the topic.

This debate contains two distinctly separate positions and it's rules encourage civil discourse. Most of the people who are posting here understand this. I don't see what is blocking you from understanding...some kind of mental block. Let me try to explain again so maybe I'll get it through to you.

I deserve God's wrath. I know God loves me because He is keeping me from experiencing His wrath.

The proof that God loves you is that He is keeping you from experiencing His wrath by sustaining your physical life in this world not wanting you to be subjected to His wrath in Hell. That's the side I am supporting. The other side is "I reject God's love" and is the atheistic position. An atheist can say "there is no God" or "there is no evidence of God" or "I have no god-belief or whatever cliché they prefer as a method of putting up a smokescreen as they try to deny God loves them. It is not I who misunderstands atheism, it is you who misunderstands God's love. Atheism is a no-brainer....it is belief in no belief. It's very easy to understand that it makes no sense. Atheist have a systematic belief of hoping they are negated in death. I understand atheism better than atheists understand it because they are fooling themselves with it and I am not fooled by it. There's nothing to atheism. You can go on and on and on elaborating about it, but it all comes down to your rejection of God's love and your preference for His wrath ...that's why atheists try to accuse God of being responsible for all the evil in the world. They want to see His wrath rather than His love and that's all they are going to see if they don't get saved from dying in eternal death in Hell's fire before it's too late.

What you are describing is not love. God is love. People can be evil and their evil in this world is proof of God's mercy, because He allowed them time they do not deserve when they should have been burning in Hell before their evil actions in this world were allowed. God does not want people to burn in Hell. That's why He gives them time here. You have time because God does not want you to be lost in Hell forever. You are choosing to go your own way, and God will allow you to do that because He loves you just the way you are...even if you go to Hell where you will never be able to believe God loves you. He loves you and He hates your sin which separates you from Him. He has no place for you but to be separated from Him forever by the sin that He hates and He will have to keep you in Hell. Saying He does not love you will not exempt you from Hell and it will not get you out of it after your sin has killed you forever.

God loves you so much that He became a man and paid for your sin with His own blood. If that's not good enough for you, then you are going to pay forever unable to repair the damages your sin has caused.

I guess you said it just about as clearly as can be said. You have to believe God loves you or you won't know He loves you. I give you ten points for hitting that nail on the head.

If you won't believe God is God, you won't believe He loves you, will you? You are trying to claim ignorance as an excuse for rejecting God. Atheism defies itself by condemning the believer of non-belief to death.

We know that is God is who He claims to be, He could heal everybody of all illness, stop all wars, end all pain NOW. The fact that He has not done this yet does not prove He is not going to do it.

Judgement Day is coming, and all evil will be forever removed from the Earth and confined in Hell's fire where it will be consumed and contained forever. People who finalize their death insisting that God is not good because He didn't give them what they wanted when they wanted it will find themselves forever separated from God in never ending death of Hell fire where the smoke of their torments will rise forever and there will never again rise in Creation anything or anybody who will defile the blissful beauty God intended for all creatures and all Creation when He created it.

I know men personally who have suffered similar losses to the person who wrote this, and they thank God for His mercy and goodness knowing He loves them still. I am one of those men.

The bitter writer of these words is trying to justify himself rather than concede to God's right to end our time, or the time of people we love, at any moment. It's a mistake to blame God in anything. All it will do is ensure your own condemnation. If the writer of this plague complaint remained bitter against God, then God left Him bitter in Hell. The man wants to justify his anger against God, and Hell justifies his existence as a man who is bitter against God.

This is not true, and if you push it I will ban you. "Wisdom" in Proverbs is personified as "she". God is never shown as having a feminine side. God the Father is never personified as female, Jesus Christ is never personified as female, the Spirit of God is never personified as female. If you push this feminization of God, I will ban you. The topic is God loves you. If you want to debate God's gender identity, make your own debate.

You can't know God's love when you insist He is not there. You are free to do that. Your shepherd is the devil, you are a devil's sheep and you are following his flock to Hell. You need to get saved or you will find out that you are following a liar and being a fool.

His love will change you if you trust Him. You don't want to be changed. You want to keep your own way and God loves you so He lets you keep it, all the way to death and Hell if that's what you want. If that's not what you want, you need to be reconciled to God to be saved from it. Saying God is t there will not remove your guilt and it won't make God go away. Saying God is not there will not ease or end your problems in dying. God loves you still and is giving you time because He does not want you to die and go to Hell.

You use the Bible the way the devil uses it...with twists of meaning and reasoning. You were banned after you called God "Osiris". That is the last word of yours I will read in this debate. God's name is God. Anybody who refers to Him by a name less than God will be banned. The name of Jesus Christ as God is acceptable because He is God. The Holy Spirit is God and God may be referred to as the Holy Spirit. God's name is God. Osiris is, without checking my old study notes, and ancient Egyptian god who is not God the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. God is the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, creator of Heaven and Earth and Hell and all that is in them.

Nobody in this debate has to agree that Jesus Christ is God, but if they insult Him too much after He suffered and died for us, they are pushing the limits of the ban button. It is enough in this debate to only use the name God if you believe in God or not.

I am not at all surprised to see Misfit's quick violation of the rules....a little disappointed, but not surprised.
