Gun Violence

http://chicago.cbslocal.com/tag/ Read the link and do show where Obama has spoken on gun violence in Chicago Last I knew, Chicago was still part of America. There have been over 400,000 people killed by guns since 2004, only a fraction of them in Chicago! Concentrating on Chicago would be very narrow-minded. That is a condition largely reserved for people with an agenda, like the gun lobby. He is "running his mouth" about gun violence "period!" (I believe that easily includes Chicago!) Nearly a half MILLION Americans killed by guns since 2004. No other civilized, industrialized nation can make that statement! HE would dearly love to do SOMETHING about it but is blocked at every turn by the "rights" of .... well, those still living! Those DEAD Americans, of course, have no more rights .... not even "Second Amendment Rights", but, WTF ... right!?? At least WE still have some ... rights. Funny how "the rights" immediately blame Obama, I guess for the fact that "not enough GOOD guys have enough guns yet!" HE HASN'T STOPPED YOU! Go out and buy more! After Dodge City, Tombstone and the like, the civilized people of America said "ENOUGH"! Then came todays NRA, not the older one, the one after Reagan passed some regulations ... after HE was shot, and the knuckle draggers who support it! I've always been a gun owner, but my arms are too short to follow todays NRA, OR todays Congress! 1

The seriousness of murder is classified by the ethnic background of both the victims and the perpetrators. Just for one example, if rival, drug dealing black gangs shoot each other, well what else do you expect and who gives a tinker's damn anyway? However, when the cream of the nation's scholars are gunned down, apparently because of their Christian faith, well that's a whole different set of circumstances. |
