Has acceptance of homosexuality become standard in the U.S.?
The head of Exodus International -- billed as the world's largest "gay conversion" Christian group -- said it was time for the organization to shut down because of changing attitudes towards homosexuality.
"I believe we’ve come to a time in the church when it’s time to lay our weapons down," Alan Chambers said at an Irvine conference. "We fought the culture and we’ve lost. But I think we’ve lost for a good reason because it’s time for peace."

I have always ACCEPTED it just like I have always accepted any other sinful practice. And I will always DISAGREE with it and consider it sinful behavior just like any other sinful practice. NO ONE, NO THING, and NO LAW will ever change that, nor silence me on that outside of death. Everyone else is welcome to discern what they mean by "acceptance" to their heart's content. I don't expect a high volume of agreement with me...To each his own. Side: Yes

The fact that you think it is sinful just shows you haven't accepted it, also if it was accepted there would be less intolerance and people wouldn't be getting in a moral panic at the thought of two people of the same sex who are in love marrying. Alas there is still intolerance and people still think Gays getting married will be the end of the world, so it has yet to be accepted. Side: No
