Most of the events in the Bible probably did take place. But the first version of the bible appeared around 400 years after the death of Christ. There have definitely been several modifications in the Bible.

No historical documentation has been found which is from the time of the beginning of Christ and the 400 years before the first Bible came up

First of all, the Bible contains both the Old and New Testament which has been around for many, many years. Seeing as you focused on the New Testament though, could you please back up how you can 'definitely' know that there were 'several modifications' in the Bible? Also, it was only the finished New Testament that was seemingly later, many parts of it were written within the lifetime of those who lived during that period. Where did you get the number 400 from?

I was of the understanding the earliest gospel was written around 80 A.D. The source you provide has the earliest at 60 A.D. Certainly not in Christ's lifetime or any of his disciples as life-expectancy was much shorter back then. So these stories had already been shaped and changed by word of mouth before they ever met paper. Ever played a game of chinese whispers? It's not unreasonable to think these stories will have undergone a similar metamorphosis.

As for modifications to the bible, see the Gospel of Eve which was not only removed from the New Testament canon but also destroyed due to its sexual content.

Then you have the startling parallels between the mythology of Jesus Christ and that of several pagan demi-gods such as Mithra and Dionysus. Whilst I wouldn't call this a 'modification' to the New Testament it certainly brings into question its authenticity as a historical document.

Just looking at how old the bible is, and how it had to have been translated leads me to think it had to be. Also how people interpret it would change it's meaning as well.

The Bible was written by man and it is prone to human error. There are plenty of mistranslations in the Bible.
