Israel has been a leader in aerial systems for security and combat. It has shared with US military this technology and more in robotics and defense. Apart from the technologies, US benefits in Israel's assistance to counter terrorism of major terrorist groups. I think no country in this world will risk itself for another purely out of obligation or moral responsibility or friendship. Every country would help/assist the other only when it gets something back. Side: Yes

Israel has been a leader in aerial systems for security and combat. It has shared with US military this technology and more in robotics and defense. Israel's military has been developed by the US, and by US dollars. Nothing they couldn't have done by themselves, they've only lost money in this regard. US benefits in Israel's assistance to counter terrorism of major terrorist groups. Which groups? (And please name groups that actually affect the US, not Israel, or else it's just circular logic - be Israel's ally, to help your ally, so you can be Israel's ally, and so on. I think no country in this world will risk itself for another purely out of obligation or moral responsibility or friendship. Every country would help/assist the other only when it gets something back. First of all, Israel's risked little to nothing for the US. Second of all, for Israel to assist the US, such as by signing peace treaties with Egypt, or not attacking Iran, it requires substantial financial aid (in the region of $5 billion + USD). Instead of a carrot and stick relationship, Israel has taken many carrots, and given the US many sticks. AKA, it has taken much, whilst helping very little. Side: No
