Has the internet ruined society?
I think it has because now everybody just says stupid stuff and thinks they know everything about everything and so they act like a big know it all when they really just have no clue about anything because they read it on the internet
And plus, noone knows how to talk in person at ALL, only if its in text or on social media, otherwise people just look at you weird for trying to start conversation...
It's terrible

The internet has been one of the best things that happened to society. The internet hasn't made anyone more dumb, it's the stupid people that wanna do and search for stupid stuff, that make it seem that way. For the people that are smart, benefit by it like crazy because they use it for a good reason, to study, and it makes it 10 times faster. 10 times is probably an understatement. Would you rather go to the library and look at countless number of books, just to find one answer? Or would you rather go on google and find it in a split second? It's the people that make the Internet seem stupid, not the Internet making the people stupid. Stupid people will do stupid stuff. our society is advancing quickly, and the internet is one of the causes of that because of the constant information fed to us. Side: No

The internet is a tool, a resource. A resource cannot benefit, nor hurt society. It is what we choose to do with the resource that determines it's value. I believe that the world is a mess, because the people who should be leading us, are not making good decisions. Our media is biased, and often completely incorrect. It is the internet that allows "we, the citizens of the world" to find truth, and seek solutions to the large problems we face. In this respect, the internet is not only a valuable tool for society, it provides us the opportunity to become informed, get our views across, and allows a platform from which to change our world for the better.
