Yes, I did know a nazi. No, I did not punch him in the face. We were actually friends. The moment I realized he was a nazi, I simply made fun of him about it from time to time. Interestingly enough, this guy actually has his face painted on one of the most famous murals(It might even be the most famous, no exaggeration) in Austin, Texas. Did the painter know he was a nazi? Probably not. I'm not going to hate someone for their political views. I've got a lot of friends who are Jews as well, and before I found out that this particular buddy was a nazi, I noticed that he treated a mutual acquaintance of ours who happened to be Jewish pretty badly... He slid out the side of a dumpster one day while I was walking down the alley saying, "Here, read this, it's really good" while holding a copy of Hitler's book, it all made sense to me. Yeah, I had a friend who was actually a nazi. A full blown Hitler loving Jew hating nazi. Not just one of these socialist dipshits who are nazis without even realizing it.. I don't have to agree with someone's politics, religion, or prejudices to love and respect them as a human being. I've had friends, people who I've really experienced things with, who are not the type of people that you'd want your kids to hang around. Not the type of people you'd probably want to hang around. The type of people who are called the scum of the Earth. Yeah, and I've been there too. I used to be one of those scums of the Earth. Maybe I still am. What do you do to such people? You show them charity like you show everyone else charity. Believe me, people have been putting up with yo tail all your life. You can pay it forward by forgiving others as you have been forgiven. Otherwise what? You condemn yourself. No matter what it may look like on the outside, you really aren't much better than any of these people you judge. We are all sinners saved by grace. Side: yes
Yes. I was in the Philippines somewhere around 1980 in a home belonging to Imelda Marcos' brother. A guest of a German engineer in charge of construction of a box plant (banana boxes). He owned 15000 acres of banana trees, 3000 acres of pineapples and 1000 acres of pigs. The engineer was not the Nazi, his wife was. At one point we were sitting there listening to her lament about the "terrible things" the allies did to (and in) Berlin during the war. She even spoke with a "snake-like" hiss in her voice. After a few minutes of this, another engineer guest from Netherlands, a guy about 6'4", had all he could take and jumped up, pointing a finger at her and asked: "DID YOU EVER HEAR OF ROTTERDAM!" Her eyes got big and she said: "yes, yes, that was terrible too." Her husband requested that we change the subject ... good idea. It was about to erupt into another "conflict", and SHE was about to be punched in the face! There are NO "very nice people" on that side. Side: yes

I'm a democratic socialist and I don't think ANYTHING like you, device. Just like there are bad and good conservatives around the world, there are bad and good socialists around the world, there are bad and good Christians around the world, there are bad and good Muslims around the world. Nazi's rounded up the Jews, the second thing they rounded up were the socialists, they hated them! They then developed their own BAD "nationalist socialists" ... the worst of them ALL. I would not attend your funeral, but I WOULD write a nice letter approving of it. Side: yes
