The burden of proof is never on the negative, but besides the numerous logical stances that invalidate anything proposed by theists I propose the Ayn Rand approach. If existence exists then two axioms( preconditions for proof) are established: the axiom of identity and the axiom of existence. The axiom of existence states that reality takes place in a plain of existence( no duh) and the axiom of identity states that everything in existence has properties that make it what is is A.K.A possessing identity. The concept of infinity doesn't mean large or any determinable adjective, it means larger then any known or presented variable. As such an object said to be infinite lacks identity, therefor it doesn't take place in existence, therefor it doesn't exist. The only position one can really take against this approach is claiming reality does not operate off of objective logic (which is the position any theist would have to take) and as such, they place themselves outside the protocol of logic. There's nothing to be debated about the anthropomorphism of the universe by monotheists. It doesn't seem particularly evident in any way. And even with the removal of that sort of imagination when looking at the universe, that by no means removes all of the mysterious, unknown aspects of it. In fact, the idea that it's not anthropomorphic makes it more mysterious then when it's thought of that way, meaning technically there's more up for debate over it.

If God is just all things that exists, good or bad, cheesecake and AIDS, etc. and there is no intent good or bad, no purpose for humans, no morality of its own or that we should derive from, etc.

Hey hey now, just because God if everything doesn't mean there's no value in our lives. I never said that. The cosmos clearly gave us the imperative to love and live and struggle against evil. Just because God is everything, including both good and evil, doesn't mean they don't obviously have a purpose. And the obvious purpose of life is to, again, grow from loving and living and combating the evil produced around us.

Why not? Look at the beauty the universe gave us... so what if ugly things exist? If it wasn't about combating the terrible and growing the beautiful, then we wouldn't be going through that struggle. We'd be comfortable with suffering, but we aren't. Meaning that everything exists for a purpose, either for us to love and live or for us to protect what we love and live for.

I'd pray to that. Sounds like a damned awesome way for the universe to go 'round. And the better part is that give me a moment I can actually give proof of it, verifying it for myself and showing others I'm not blind.

Does such a redefinition of God basically make God worthless?

Of course it doesn't. Well, maybe it makes a monotheistic deity worthless if you had the transition of ideals, because my God isn't and wasn't an anthropomorphic deity. God is everything. He is me, you, everything we know, and everything that is that we don't know.

Whether that devalues your idea of God isn't particularly relevant to me because I'm not a monotheist. But I can tell you right now, there is nothing valueless about the God I believe in.

Also, I perhaps should stop using the word God to describe what I worship. It's a good word for theists to understand my preliminary ideals, but afterwards it can probably get confusing, because it implies an entity where there is none in my belief.
