You can disagree with the homosexual lifestyle but there is no need to be afraid of it. I personally do not agree with it but that is the way the were born and it is not their fault. My uncle was gay and he died from AIDS when I was three. My father was fired from a job because he refused to fire a man because the man was gay. I absolutely agree, Tugman. Whether or not someone agrees is their completely valid choice; But if someone hates someone(or is afraid of someone to the extent of mistreating them) because of the person being gay, that is not okay. I don't think I really disagree exactly with gaiety(as I like to call it.^-^), but I'm not totally sure. I'm really young and am still forming a lot of my beliefs and opinions. However, I know that I have no problem with gay PEOPLE. So, do I respect homophobes? No. Do I respect people who disagree with the gay lifestyle? yes. 282 days ago
If political correctness dictates that you have to be tolerant of gays, then it has to be a two way street and extend the same right to homophobes. Otherwise it's not fair. So, to recap, you have to be tolerant of intolerant people ;) Maybe someday they'll find the homophobes gene ;) If none of this makes any sense to you, then you will understand why my little guy is banging his head against the key board. Is this a reply to my post? Because I was downvoted(I don't know by who), but there is no actual rebuttle by my post...so, assuming this is a reply: Re-read my post. All I'm saying is that I respect people who personally disagree but who understand that it's not their business. I do NOT respect homophobia, or the judgemental attitudes that many people have towards gay people.
