How Can We Keep From Mutating Into Monkey Men?

Nothing in that scripture involves mutation, monkeys, or even a basic understanding of the evolution. It is the same basic follow Christ because he is the only way which you hear over and over again.
Second, John is of questionable authorship and Biblical scholars even rank it as among the very last of the scriptures in timeline, written essentially a century after Christ's death.
So basically as a persecuted religion ramped up its rhetoric in defense of self importance and exclusivity you take that as solid proof anyone who doesn't obey is just a mutating monkey who will perish whereas the Christians will live forever.
I'd you care to find out take a pen and paper and detail just the trial and cross. I did, and from each prespective I can literally tell you where they were standing! Here is a smidgen due to length.
Their eyes telling details told me.
Matt. He was a paranoid scared emotional mess that day.
1 He tells details of Judas, like he was lerking in that area without the other three writers.
...a) So the Pharisees I'd assume were conspiring together, probably all in one section. So if Judas really returned the silver, was distraught, then later found hung himself.
....b) And if the details Matt gives about the court room seem to be from what he can observe from lerking around behind the area the Pharisees were, then there is a pretty good chance it's an eyewitness prespective of the court room
John
1 - John was with Mary, the whole time. Mary being the mother of Jesus wasn't running and hiding.
....a) Mary was inside the court room. John was with her, comforting her, while everyone else was hiding.
....b) So he is the best most detailed one on details from a ring side seat prespective. And not of the conversations of people outside the court room.
....c) So his details at court, as well as the cross are the details are from a prespective one one would record as if sitting up front.
....d) It's the same at the cross.
2 - So in the court room, John records testimonies and details as if the center hall was in his plain view.
3 - At the foot of the cross Jesus is having conversations with John
....a) No others record personal conversations of Jesus from the cross.
....b) Others record loud statements heard as if in the crowd
....c) John records what he can hear because of his position.
....d) John records "I am thirsty, the others mention Jesus
calling out a statement loudly, then people running around putting vinegar on a sponge giving Jesus a sponge of bitter
wine to drink. But it doesn't match what the statement was, it's like unmatched. These other guys hear a statement, then record actions that don't match what was heard loudly from in the noisy crowd!
...e) But John records I am thirsty. And them running around giving Him this awful drink.
Every piece tells where all of these men are, and not one is
I was amazed when I did it myself, I have determined that historians even biblical scholars are in this thought of complicating things.
That's why I went to it myself.
Just taking one event, the biggest one, all four wrote and each had a different prespective. And when I detailed each, I could literally see where their prespective was, their frame of mind, their personalities, and their emotions, and their mental state.
So it actually doesn't matter what "they" say. Because "they" are guessing. And some guess what they want to guess, and what they want to spin as truth. Some are afraid of the other "theys" and some are mimicking either of these two.
So I studied it myself, and found it answers itself!
Read the court and cross account of each.
John was inside the courthouse area with Mary
Luke was the second closest, still hanging low, but his vantage point was in the court area, but toward where they exited, because Luke caught many details of the court case and also the side conversations after Jesus was being lead to Golgotha.
Matt was behind where the Pharisees were, and was outside of the court room, opposite side of were Luke was.
And Mark was not in the court area. He was hanging with Peter and also the rich man named Joseph who donated his tomb. They were by the road, where people were going about their day, in the midst of the chaos. But close enough to see the activity outside the courthouse.
And the cross, John was in front of the cross, Luke made it there before John and Mary.
Matt was standing on the far side of the left side thief, and in the midst of a noisy hostile crowd.
Luke was standing closer to the the if on the right, in the mist of a less noisy crowd.
Mark pretty much stayed in the business road, outside of the crowd.
John died of natural causes on the Isle of Patmos where God gave him The Book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ.
John was exiled to Patmos after he was sentenced to death by being boiled in oil. He somehow survived the process and under Roman law he had been executed and could not be tried/executed again.....so he was exiled to Patmos. Polycarp was John's closest disciple.
These scoffers have no idea what they are talking about. Martyrs and saints filled with holy fire of the Spirit of God kept His word and passed it down in through the generations in spite of constant threat of torturous executions if they were found to be Christians. We have God's word today because God's people know it is true, we know Christ is risen from the dead because those who touched Him, ate with Him, and talked with Him after the stone was rolled away from the tomb in spite of being guarded by Roman soldiers testified openly of His conquering of death.
Because doubting Thomas saw Jesus, He believed, and Jesus said "blessed are they who have not seen, yet have believed." "To whom is the arm of the Lord revealed, and who hath believed our report?". These haters would be cheering to see Christians thrown to the lions or burned at the stake, and they would order the executions if they could. Jesus said they would hate us the same as they hated Him, and be sure that these people would show no mercy for you the same as they show no mercy for Christ.
Good job on portraying the scenario and positioning of the disciples during the trial and crucifixion of the Lord.
Thanks, wasn't that cool. That why Matt says the two thieves were yelling insults. Matt goes on and on about people shouting insults. You can really get in Matt's head, it's like his focus is on the screaming so he was in that frame of mind, and in the midst of a hostile crowd. So Matt if he was on the far left of the thieves and he can make out some of what the left the if says, but the right side thief he could see yelling back. So he mentions a list of people insulting, like an emotion agitation.
Where as Luke actually is on the right and can hear the left thief insulting, and the right the if defending. But it's not a discrepancy it's the opposite, it fills it in like if you add all the parts you can picture it exactly as they wrote it!
And Mark is the only one who records Joseph the rich guy who donated the tomb needing to get up courage, and he and Peter were probably together off to the side of the street. He records more of passers-by material, even with the trial. So these guys were there! Big time! It's like God is showing us more, it's cool!
What resemblance? I need you to clarify for me because I don't have a clue what you are referring to.
The literal purpose of the cross was a form of torture and crucifixion, causing the poor person tied or nailed to it to meet death in a brutal and terrible way.
The spiritual version is vastly different though the roots are near the same. An intersection between Gods love and justice. Depends on which version you hold but both are truths.
The mark of the beast in Revelations. There are two people marked in Revelations. This is image, image and likeness.
The 1st use of this word is in Genesis. When God made man in His image. After Cain is exiled, Seth becomes the son after Adam's image, and Adam and Eve is called man, made in the image of God. Genesis 5.
Genesis 4 Is about Cain, compare to Genesis 5. These are the two images the Bible starts with.
Then after the fall, we have Cain and Abel, Cain becomes marked, Abel blood cries out as the 1st martyr.
Cain is marked and exiled He builds a city in the world after his son in his image Enoch, by the 6th generation from Cain, Lamech - this #6 man, generation from Cain, is a murderer a boastful out in the open wild beast of a man, he takes two wives, and boasts of his murders. His "father" is Cain - the 1st murderer and liar. And He resembles the serpent, who is also marked, as Christ the Seed of Promise wounds his head. Marked from the serpent, Cain, to # 6 - Lamech.
People are currently being marked. You are either sealed with the Holy Spirit and have the Mind of Christ.
Who can stand on the Day of the Lord?
This is who will stand, the man who walks upright, with the wise mind of Christ.

Do a study on image, father, and mind. You can bypass the more obvious scriptures that are more generically using these terms.
Jesus draws a line between fathers. He says I am from my father, and he say of others their father is the devil.
He also discusses Born Again, we are born subjected to Satan and his image. So it doesn't matter if people think their gender is mixed up at birth, we are all screwed up at birth. We must be Born Again. Jesus said to enter His Kingdom we must undergo a new birth. We are New Creations. In our Father's Image after His Seed, Jesus.
The world is born of seed, that seed cannot enter God's kingdom, because the father of that seed has been judged already. There is no salvation for him, nor for those who take his image, because they let the Devils seed take root. And they are then bad trees with bad fruit, because of the seed!
The seed! Seed of Promis, tree of life, good tree, good fruit.

The first part reminds me of a Native American proverb that I think I posted on this site once before, about a battle of two wolves inside us. One is evil (anger, jealousy, greed, ego....) the other is good (joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness...) and the one that wins is the one that you feed.

Democrats believe in mutating through evolution so looks like by their belief in that process that it can be reversed. Apes to Men then Men to Apes should sound logical to all Democrats.
As unrepentant sinners, people are mutating into devils and that mutation will be final in the fire of Hell where they can no longer by any means physical or by indoctrination reproduce to make more people like themselves.
Only two things make them different from devils now...they can reproduce and they can be saved by the blood of the Lamb of God.
You appear to have done it again. That is..showing your scientific--and more specifically, Evolutionary Science--ignorance with this post.
And you do this in not one, but rather, TWO fashions.
The first is, of course, asking the absurd and childish question about how we can avoid mutating into "monkey men." This shows not even a 6th grade level knowledge of the Evolutionary process. Hell, you'r probably one of those religious idiots that think that Evolution says we descended from apes.
Just like Outlaw, who I have explained to several times. Evolution says no such thing.
And then, to further leave us no doubt you are firmly ensconced in the cocoon of religious delusion and science ignorance...you post fucking bible tracts, which have nothing to do with the topic. Just as the bible has nothing to do with science or reality.
I'm not even going to go into how we did not evolve from apes, as I fell that anybody who criticizes Evolution and thinks that is what it says is pretty much too far gone to grasp any science reality. People like you have made it clear that you do not let the facts interfere with your opinions.
