CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy.
If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.
To learn more about the CreateDebate scoring system, check out the FAQ.
When you are ready to voice your opinion, use the Add Argument button to create an argument.
If you would like to address an existing argument, use the Support and Dispute link within that argument to create a new reply.
Putting aside your ignorance of English such that you do now know evil is a simpler way of saying bad behavior, tell us how you know when one bag of evolved pond scum is doing something "bad" to another bag of evolved pond scum, especially if the perp thinks the victim is lesser evolved than he is?
As I said, your ignorance of English is tripping you up, as is your insistence on irrationally changing the subject (ad populum fallacy) because you know your worldview does not allow you to know what evil is.
One day I hope to meet a rational atheist, but today is not that day.
Let's examine who's evil and who's not.. My post attacked what you SAID.. Your post attacked ME.. Clearly, you're the one who's exhibiting bad behavior..
When one human causes unwanted suffering to another that is bad behavior. (Evil in your terms)
I thought you could read into context clues. But you aren't interested in understanding other people, you are here to demonize anyone who doesn't agree with you (usually calling them pond scum or moron) and then ignore any actual good points that have been presented.
Moron, I did not ask you what evil is or to explain it. I asked you have you know what it is.
Why is this Q so hard for you
Well, I would hazard to guess that your inability to understand English makes it difficult for others to correctly interpret the meaning of your idiotic questions.
Of course you would, as your mental illnesses, especially narcissism, do not allow you to consider the possibility that others are your betters on every level. Bye, loser.
Of course you would, as your mental illnesses, especially narcissism, do not allow you to consider the possibility that others are your betters on every level.
You don't have to be a narcissist to understand English bro. You just need to not be retarded.
Keep working at it and perhaps you'll eventually get there.
Ok I will explain this to you in a complex way so there is no possible mis-interpretation.
When one human performs an action that causes suffering to another human without consent, this is evil.
You can scientifically look at brain activity to see if someone is having pain, stress, emotional distress, etc caused to them. And then find out what the cause of that suffering is.
If the cause of the "suffering" is another human, you then check to see if they had consent to cause that suffering to the other human.
If there was not consent, and the human was forced to suffer by another human without consent. I would call this "bad" or "evil".
So that is how you know if something is evil or not. It is determined by if humans are purposefully causing suffering to each other without consent.
Please I'd love to see how you turn this into me being stupid. I await your response eagerly.
When one human performs an action that causes suffering to another human without consent, this is evil.
Wrong. You have failed to account for unintentional suffering which arises because of circumstantial factors. If there is no intent to make anybody else suffer then you cannot say the action is evil. And this is where the notion of an objective form of evil falls apart, because there is almost always another motive involved other than making another person suffer.
Is the truth funny to you? You and those on the Left are the hilarious ones. You will constantly judge those on the Right for their politics, but refuse to look within the inhumanity of what you support.
Laugh away, but we both know that you are well aware of your inhumanity. You are just to insecure to admit it. You must demonize the messenger.... text book liberal.
So when someone posts scientific research which explicates why you are not Jewish, and you reply by calling them a "science-denying Jew hater", you know that is wrong?
Well, today we only have to look at the White House for an excellent definition … or Helsinki …. or Saudi Arabia … or Russian agents in the Oval Office … or Trump at NATO … or looking over the shoulder of Stormy Daniels with that "evil" grin, while his wife is having a baby … or Trump at the "National Prayer Breakfast" … Trump playing golf on our ($)millions … OR, … well that's a start! Evil is, as evil does, and Trump DOES … day after day! An atheist can SEE evil, as well as anyone that is not blind, and if s/he IS blind, it can be FELT! (Especially if one walks in front of Herr Gropenfuhrer.)!
Evil is that which causes suffering (in intensity and in numbers). Even my dog realizes that if he bites another dog, he is causes pain. A dog also realizes KARMA- if you bite l, then you are subject to being bitten!! Do think a dog needs to read a Bible to realize this?
I am a Pagan. But you can have no religion and still understand this concept. Paganism just explains why their are these type events.
Why is this so hard for your morons? I did not ask you WHAT evil is, but how you know what it is. Learn to read, people, and stop taking moral lessons from your dog.
