How much of The Donald's promises will he fulfill?

List the election period promises that you believe The Donald will complete and the others that you believe he'll duck and dodge.

A few could include..
- "Lock her up"
- Mexican border "wall"
- Muslim Ban
- Stop and Frisk
- Tax cuts
- Planned Parenthood/Obamacare Reform/Abolition

On top of these, do you think there will be any previously unmentioned efforts that he will enforce, such as foot soldiers in the Middle East (Pence said it wasn't out of the question) or anything else that Republicans usually like to do.

Lock her up; You can't lock someone up without a conviction. (That is until we have an authoritarian government).

The Mexican "wall" almost has to be a fence, It would probably put Texas below sea level to build a concrete wall with footings, the length of Texas, Arizona, California and half of Fort Knox's piggy bank. Let's see, how many schools would that build or repair.....??

Muslim Ban: That would be a great boost to ISIS. They'd LOVE it!

Stop and Frisk: Well, maybe , after the new conservative SCOTUS amends the Constitution.

Tax cut: Hmmmm, does 15% of a billionaires income hurt them as much as 15% of YOURS??

Planned Parenthood: It's a private business, I thought we were supposed to HELP businesses??

Obama Care: They are finally going to get around to working ON it, which the do-nothing Congress could have done several years ago. Now they may do what could have been done long ago, give it a different name (like Trump Care) and take credit for Obama's thingy, reworked in favor of the insurance cartel. Will it be as cheap as the 36 countries rated BETTER and MUCH cheaper than what we had ... I think I can guarantee, NO! The word "reform" is more correct.

Maybe we WILL get a few things done if the do nothing Congress does something. Much of the GOOD stuff would have been done under Obama, but, Y'all had that meeting in 07 and kept America back for 8 years! We don't thank you.

- "Lock her up" - No - Multiple articles have been publishing explaining how unlikely that is.

- Mexican border "wall" - Partial - He'll strengthen it. But he's already said parts will just be a fence.

- Muslim Ban - No - Will never happen. Too many in Washington understand it isn't that simple and disagree.

- Stop and Frisk - No - I believe the Courts have already said that's unconstitutional

- Tax cuts - Partial - He'll cut for somebody (particularly himself). Don't expect the bulk of the population to be the beneficiaries of it though.

- Planned Parenthood/Obamacare Reform/Abolition - Partial - I believe he'll whack PP, he's already said he'll keep parts of Obamacare, and he'll prime the Supreme Court to reverse Roe v Wade although then it depends on whether they ban nationally or whether they just say each state gets to decide.

Generally, he gets three partials, and none of them are even close to the extreme shellacking his supporters want them to be.

One or two probably won't happen at all and the rest will be modified.

Trump knows better that most that it is easy to criticize those in power, be it the government of a country of the board of directors of a corporation.

Every employee knows how to run the company better than the bosses of their employer and we all know how the country should be administered if only we could get rid of the lunatics in government.

That is until we would find ourselves in the driving seat when we would view all the contentious issues from a totally different perspective.

Once we would have an insight to the ''big picture'' all the black and white ( no pun intended) solutions become clouded with the threat of heretofore unforeseen consequences.

When power is tempered with responsibility problems become multi-dimensional and the solutions will always be laden with potentially unpleasant consequences.

Trump's conciliatory rhetoric towards his arch rival Hillary and Obama is clear evidence that he realizes one of the more serious consequences of continuing the 'war of words' and fulfilling his spiteful threats would be to polarize the nation even further and add fuel to the racial bonfire just waiting to be torched by the next wrong move.

As it is we're just about keeping the lid on the racial and ideological pressure cooker.

No one dare turn up the gas.
