How old should someone be before they are allowed to rule a country?

Consider how old one has to be before they are able to make hard decisions, be trust worthy, wise with money, etc.

I think a ruler of a country should be at least 37 years old. At this age they have had a lot of life experiences dealing with money, people, and mistakes. They are old enough to understand consequences and can make hard decisions.

I think there should never be a ruler and instead should be a group and you vote for the entire group not one person or their personal traits. I think this is much better for democracy.

Thats called an aristocracy btw, its sounds like a good idea at first but in the and old days they tried it out, in italian free cities mostly (I think), and fights always broke out between the leaders. When you think of it that system still kinda exists today, when we elect a president we know from his campaign who he will put in charge of the different ministries

Ugh.

There have actually been debatably good rulers who were quite young, and there are definitely huge numbers of people well into the end of their lives that could never figure out the basics.

If you want specifics, definitely past whatever the culture claims as an adult, so that at least the perception is possibly there. (That the ruler is an adult, that is.)
