A common thread in all of these domestic violence incidences is clothes. The overwhelming majority are wearing some kind of garment be it pants, shirts, skirts, shoes, etc..... so the logical solutions would be to ban clothes and force everyone to be nude. Problem solved.

Send all the guns into space and blast them 30billion light years away.

Give everyone a personal Gandalf. They'll essentially cancel each other out.

Form special squads to shoot anyone who tries to buy a firearm. This in itself couldn't be construed as mass shootings as the potential purchasers would be executed individually.

You stop mass shootings by shooting the shooter. Talk is cheap.

Make sure a minimum of 10% average of crowded areas has a gun and the shooter will have no time to shoot tons of people before they get shot thenselves, defeating the point of having mass shootings in the first place as they occur later.

No, most mass shootings are NOT domestic violence.

Orlando....VA Tech; and The Batman movie and also the latest Orlando shootings were done in public places. Or in the case of VA Tech and Columbine, on college campuses. Neither of these venues are construed as being domestic, which refers to as "in a person's home or place of residence.

So personal relationships had little or nothing to do with them. Except in the case maybe you could say the shooters might have had a decided lack of close and personal relationships that might have been a deterrent to them committing these wanton acts of psychotic violence.

Therefore your proposal makes no sense whatsoever.

When someone does a mass shooting you capture them and torture them on public tv in a very brutal shocking way - like cut off a finger at a time. Make it so horrible that people would think twice. Simple

Eliminate the public school system. Teach kids not to be bullies. The end.
