"I'm A Holocaust Survivor—Trump's America Feels Like Germany"
Stephen B. Jacobs has a warning from the past for America today: It’s happening again.
At 79 years old he is among the youngest of the living Holocaust survivors and was born six years after Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany. But Jacobs can remember life in the Nazi concentration camp at Buchenwald; what the Nazis did to him, his family, his friends.
He worries about what’s happening right now in America, where he has lived and prospered since arriving a couple of years after Buchenwald’s liberation on April 11, 1945.
The American far-right appears emboldened since the election of President Donald Trump, who led an inflammatory, nationalist campaign. Since then, clashes like the one in Charlottesville are becoming almost commonplace.

Stephen B. Jacobs has a warning from the past for America today: It’s happening again. Hey, a 5 year old telling us how things were. Cool. I don't remember being 5. At 79 years old he is among the youngest of the living Holocaust survivors and was born six years after Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany. But Jacobs can remember life in the Nazi concentration camp at Buchenwald; what the Nazis did to him, his family, his friends. We have no death camps, and Trump takes no salary, so not the same there He worries about what’s happening right now in America, where he has lived and prospered since arriving a couple of years after Buchenwald’s liberation on April 11, 1945. Every Republican candidate for President has been called a Nazi, including John McCain, and was later saluted and glorified by the left as a good man. The American far-right appears emboldened since the election of President Donald Trump, who led an inflammatory, nationalist campaign. Since then, clashes like the one in Charlottesville are becoming almost commonplace. Unite the Right's leader, Jason Kessler, voted for Obama. Side: Marxist Pig
Cool. I don't remember being 5 Probably because you haven't ever lived in a Nazi concentration camp. We have no death camps Neither did the Nazis. Until they did. Every Republican candidate for President has been called a Nazi And yet you see no pattern emerging. Gee Bronto, I wonder if it's because Republicans think and act like Nazis? Including John McCain Oh really? Care to show us all the Holocaust survivors who accused John McCain of being a Nazi? I didn't think so. and was later saluted and glorified by the left as a good man. When someone dies, it's polite not to say terrible things about them. Literally only you would try to use the fact that the left has class against them. Unite the Right's leader, Jason Kessler, voted for Obama. According to, wait for it.... Jason Kessler!! Lmfao! And this would have been years before he changed his mind about blacks and became a fully-fledged neo-Nazi. Strange that you ALWAYS seem to leave that part out. And when I say strange, what I mean is that you only include the parts of any story which don't directly contradict your fascist views. Jason Eric Kessler (born September 22, 1983) is an American white supremacist[1][2][3], neo-Nazi,[4][5][6] and far-right political activist https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Wow, yeah Bronto. Obviously Jason Kessler is a Liberal. I don't know why I didn't see it before buddy. LMFAO. Side: Liberal Swine
And yet you see no pattern emerging. No. I see no death camps or dead Jews. Gee Bronto, I wonder if it's because Republicans think and act like Nazis? Your problem being that these same Nazis were later called great men and heralded by the left, once there was no political benefit to smearing them anymore. Side: Marxist Pig
