I'm an atheist.. I DON'T hate God, religion or Christians. You don't believe me
Hello:
People
who hate atheists INSIST that atheists hate religion. But, that's NOT
my experience.. I'm a Jew. I LOVE being a Jew. I eat lox.. I speak
Yiddish. I go to Temple. So, I am most definitely a CULTURAL Jew. The only
thing I'm NOT, is a BELIEVING Jew..
But, I'm lucky. Jews aren't required to BELIEVE in order to BE Jews. All we have to do is ACT like Jews. And, I can DO all that WITHOUT hating a soul.
It doesn't matter if you hate God or not. His judgement will still come to those who did not accept Christ as their savior. No one is worthy, not even one single one. To not accept the Son is rebellion against God.
It doesn't matter if you hate God or not. You sound like you are more Left leaning which means you vote for those politicians who do everything in their power to censor and stifle religious freedoms, religious symbols on public lands, freedoms of private Christian family owned business to hold to their beliefs and not cater events that go against their faith such as Gay wedding receptions, freedoms to allow communities the choice if they have a prayer at beginning of school day (with no child forced to pray), etc.
With your vote you support a bigoted Democrat Party that is always at odds with Christians who do not like being forced to subsidise abortions through medicaid, Obamacare, planned parenthood, etc.
Now the Democrat Party wants to force through the courts every pubic school to allow so called transgender boys into every Christian parent's daughter's bathrooms.
The Left has no respect for our Christian beliefs and when you support them, you are going against God.
This is why Trump got most of the evangelical vote. Christians understand how many freedoms they are losing to the Left. They understnd that the Liberal activist Justices appointed by Democrats will usually side with the anti Christin Left.
This is my beef to all Democrats who say they are not pro choice, or don't support late term bortions, or don't hate God, or believe in religious freedoms, etc. etc.
These people are phonies every time they vote for the very peope who do support everything these phonies say they don't support.
Unlike you, I give detailed examples to prove what I am saying.
You on the other hand seem incapable of giving details to why my examples are wrong.
That would be called debating. You would rather keep repeating mindless childish sentences so you do not have to respond to my examples that you know to be true.
It's true.. You explain your right wing dogma pretty good.. But, I DO debate you.. You just don't LIKE how I do it.. Here's an example you won't like.. In DETAIL, you said, "These people are phonies every time they vote for the very people who do support everything these phonies say they don't support."
Here's my detailed debate on your detailed examples.. WRONG!
excon
PS> Detailed debate includes verifiable facts, research, references, and links to scholarly work. All you have is OPINION.
I have opinions based on many examples of what we see in the news every single day. Maybe you are a joke and lack the intellect to actually watch the news and see what has been going on in our nation for decades now.
Everything i speak to is happening, and what makes Liberals such wastes of time is that they simply deny the obvious and blindly spew their Leftwing rhetoric of how Trump and Conservatives are racists who hate all Mexicans and hate all Muslims, and hate women, etc. etc.
LOL, give us all a break and try just once admitting the simple truth when it is shown to you.
You are simply unable to distinguish ISSUES from BUMPER STICKERS.. I can't debate with bumper stickers except to say you're wrong, and that's NOT debate.. That's he said/she said.
Plus, you just can't stop insulting me.. That doesn't make me wanna be pleasant to you..
First of all, I want to commend you for always starting with a kind Hello. Second, I want to apologise if I ever insult you without good reason.
It is very hard to not make some type of condescending remarks when a person just refuses to admit the parts of arguments that are OBVIOUSLY true.
What you call bumper sticker arguments, I call awareness of life and what is going on before our very eyes. We are all living and seeing the obvious truth to those bumper sticker realities. When you deny the obvious, it makes we want to totally ignore you.
I will take it for awhile since you start with a kind hello :) but that can only last for a time.
I will repeat my bumper sticker realities to you once more. When a person supports an extreme Party, and then pretends to be a kinder gentler Liberal, it does not wash!
All that "humans are born in sin" stuff, and the things about "grace".
According to Gaudiya Hinduism (which also, incidentally, doesn't make it to my list of harmless religions), you are in the world because you rebelled against God, and he wants to save you, which you can achieve by devotion to him. And since he wants to save you, hell and heaven are not eternal but just based on your actions - the punishments and the time (also, they can't cancel each other).
I thought we were talking about christians and what we believe in(the line i highlighted).
And you post the hindu dictionary?
Very disappointing. It's ok don't retry, i know what to expect....a clone of the previous with right and left limbs exchanged to make it look different.
I won't needlessly bring it up when arguing with Christians
They stand for "religion" here, and I don't think it should matter to me what their religion is.. if there's a flaw in any religion, I can bring it up and expect them to answer, as they are speaking for "religion" here.
That, pretty much, means that about all debates on this website are about Christianity.
pretty much, not exactly, so there can't be generalization.(not that I ever made that statement)
It does affect, as I showed, whether soul is immortal or not.
It does, actually - you'd be surprised. Historically, Hinduism is like a big brother of Buddhism, but considers people to be souls. India had just been too divided and was then conquered by the Muslims (or, Mughals), most of which weren't great rulers. So in all, the medieval period pretty much went terrible, and then colonisation. It's underappreciated these days.
Hinduism is like a big brother to Islam as well. The Kaaba used to be a Hindu temple. It's also why they use the crescent moon symbol at the forefront of the religion. Compare these 2 pictures if you want.
No, neither of those 3 is a correct interpretation of the shape that you are expecting Hinduism to contain. The crescent moon-like shape is not exactly that, but a circle with another circular area removed - their diameters being in golden ratio.
As to the moon, the tale associated with it's cycle is pretty much - it's cursed to behave that way.
As I said, most of those are incorrect. Your best bet is to take my word on it.
And why would Islam steal it from Hinduism, anyway? Let's just say for a while they did steal an incorrect depiction. Why? Most of it's stories are stolen from Christianity, which in turn stole them from elsewhere.
Though I haven't read the Quran enough except for some quote-picking to say whether they've stolen anything from New Testament, I'd be surprised if they haven't.
Though I haven't read the Quran enough except for some quote-picking to say whether they've stolen anything from New Testament, I'd be surprised if they haven't.
I'll give you a quick summary Nagpal. Either the prophecies of the NT book of Revelation are coming true by devine providence, or Muhammed took the story of "the beast", reversed it, and made the beast of Revelation into his new religion.
Examples?
The Antichrist takes over the world, rules by force, makes everyone one religion. So guess what the Islamic "Mahdi does? Takes over the world, rules by force, and makes the entire world Muslim.
In the NT the "Beast of the Earth" marks foreheads and supports the Antichrist. He is "the False prophet". So in Islam the "beast of the Earth is "Prophet Jesus" who supports the Mahdi. He marks foreheads with the "staff of Moses in Islam.
1)It's a false equivalency. If Christ is who he said he was, then He was simply the fulfillment of the Old Testament. Jesus referenced those stories as allegories and spoke in parables. He was the fulfillment of Jewish prophecies, which is why Christianity is the most convincing belief system.
2)Jesus and His disciples were Jews, so to say they "stole the stories" is semantical. They were their stories. Muhammad was not a Jew. He was an Arab.
They were, but it isn't an easy shape to sculpt, and thus not everyone has the taste to. Such shapes would also have the extremities eroded and look like they were crescent moons.
For the others, it's possible that they always had a crescent moon. Hinduism thousands of years ago wasn't so unified a religion to enforce such things.
I don't think souls are material or naturalistic, at least not in the sense that we define "material" as.
It's like being in a virtual reality video game. Sure, you are technically in the world of the game, but who you are is really outside of the game in an outside reality beyond the laws of the video game.
Those games are getting better "defined laws" and future generations would be capable of making realities that can't be distinguished from this one. As far as you know, you might be in one right now.
Decay is only a part of the video game that you are in. You've been programmed to believe it exists, but it doesn't anywhere else. In other simulations, there is no decay, and you believe that you are Henry the XIII... and you can fly, and... you have a horn.
Hating "god" has never been the case as atheists question the existence of "god"'..
and how can one hate something that he doesn't know of it's existence, an atheist doesn't believe in god,it's not necessary that an atheist hates "god".
If I compare you to stinking monkey, that would be hateful toward you. Comparing God to Santa Clause is hateful toward God. You hate God, that's why you are trying to kill Him.
Just admit it...you hate God and you love death, and you think that if you can kill God, then you can be exonerated in death.
Do you believe a four leaf clover is lucky? If not, does that mean you HATE four leaf clover?? Nahh.. If you DO think a four leaf clover is lucky, and I don't happen to, do you think I hate four leaf clovers??? I don't think you do.. Does THAT help you to understand?
