The common sense truth and wisdom of the Bible is amazing yet people actually think men wrote these words. We see the reality of how mankind sees themselves without God. They would never write a book that calls themselves sinners and needing of repentance. The Godless today believe they are wonderful just the way they are. They are blind to the inhumanity they support as we see with abortion and other issues. Those on the Left would never make the statement "I'm too far gone for God to want me". They would more likely make statements ridiculing any person who believe's there is a God. In the Left's mind, they are the enlightened ones, not God. They believe they are Godlike and possess the intellect to justify forcing everyone to think as they think. I agree with your debate and would say for a person to make such a statement concerning being too far gone, and seeing his own sins, means he has already humbled himself and found God. Side: True

I believe the Biblical path is this .... "I do not believe" / "I will not believe" and then After God's judgement / "I now therefore cannot believe" ... < those in the "I cannot believe" camp are those who have rejected God to the lifelong uttermost and God has granted (empowered) their wish after crawling over miles of his warning and grace ... those who have reached this level of rejection (Romans 1) are indeed turned over to reprobate mind ... the LAST thing they're concerned about is .. "I'm too far gone for God to want me" .... they got all ten middle fingers up in God's face Side: False

So why don't Atheists do that.... if it's just that easy.... Christopher Hitchens held out until the end with his unbelief. But wait, excon says all Hitchens had to do was "say you're sorry". Apparently it's not that easy unless you are sincere, truly humbled, and are changed. Side: True

Are you a "good person" if you cannot say "I'm sorry"? And if that's what it takes to be a "good person", then why aren't Atheists lined up to repent at least to each other....if not God....Because they can't. That's how far gone the arrogance and hate is with the full blown Atheist. It's beyond the pale. Side: True
