I've talked to young people who ask what's wrong with making others pay for their College.

This is the conditioning of of our children's minds by closet socialists in the Democrat party. Our kids are growing up watching Left leaning sit coms, talk shows, hollywood movies, etc. sending this same message in unisom...... IT'S TAX PAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY FOR OTHER'S CHOICES AND EXPENSES IN LIFE.

Let me make this very clear to all Democrats and those who would vote for Hillary.... NO! It's not mine or anyone else's responsibility to pay for other's College, Birth control, Abortion, or the thousand other things Democrats keep adding on the backs of tax payers.

College is not a right nor should it be! To all those who think every child is College material, get a brain. There are many many people who will never finish College but have many skills to get good paying jobs in many areas of life that should never require College.

I believe we should be incouraging more job training schools that focus purely on individual occupations. College, whereby students must learn many subjects not pertaining to their career path,  is now an archaic failing unaffordable system.
Why should a third grade teacher be forced to have 6 years of College(learning pyschics, higer math, etc. etc.)?
If she someday wants to teach higher grade education, she can take individual courses to learn the necessary skills. Tax payers are being forced to pay these teachers much higher salaries because of all the forced schooling required.

I actualy went to one of the last one room school houses in our nation, where one teacher taught kids from kindergarten up to sixth grade, and guess what? We all learned the basic math, english, science, etc. from a teacher that probably had no degree.

It's insane what we force people to learn in College when it has nothing to do with their career choice. Our entire idea of College and job training needs to be overhauled instead of the mindless Sociaist Democrat's answers of taxing more and having Government controling every aspect of our lives. In cased you missed it, Government is corrupt and bankrupts most things it gets involved with.

To every person who thinks Colleges cost too much, send your child to a community College for as many years as possible to attain the degree they want. Yes, they might have to change schools to get other courses required but it still saves plenty.

The reason Colleges costs are sky rocketing is because of the huge easy school loans that so many ignorant people take out, never caring how they would pay it back. Colleges use this easy money to keep raising their tuitions because they KNOW people are dumb enough to pay it. STOP PAYING IT! Go to the less expensive Colleges and send a message. Competition works!

It's time intelligent people start sending many messages to our corrupt politicians by NOT VOTING FOR THEM when coming up with more ludicrous failed Socialistic answers to our problems! We are almost 20 TRILLION in debt and the same tired failed rhetoric from Democrats speaks to bigger Government as the answer. IT IS NOT! What these corrupt career politicians want is a socialist nation being controlled by them, with an electorate bought and paid for securing their votes.

Let me ask you this: Why are you ok with the government paying for public schooling through 12th grade?

There is obviously a difference between going to very expensive higher education versus every child learning how to read and write.

To get most jobs in society, one must learn to read and write and do minor math.

If Government did not FORCE everyone to go to school through 12th grade, I would be ok with home schooling. Since Gvernment DOES FORCE every child to go to school or be homed school, then there has to be some pubic schools.

I realize some kids have no parents and need public schools to learn to read and write.

Every child does NOT need College. It would be nice if Government finally realized how expensive College is because of all the required courses that have nothing to do with the career path.

I would love to see many more vocational schools that teach only what's required to do a particular job, and in that way reduce the costs. Businesses would not have to require degrees before hiring people if we got away from this degree mentality. Most jobs don't need a degree, they need hard working people capable of learning on the job.

The savings would also be to the employers who do not have to pay higher salaries required to pay back all the College costs.

By 2020, about 65% of jobs require secondary schooling beyond high school. If you your reason for providing public schooling through high school is that it is necessary to get most jobs in society, that logic should extend to public universities. No one is saying that all college must be free, only that there should be a free option, as the workforce has developed in a way our education system has not.
