I want to go to a protest.

Anyone have any causes for me that I might support? I know it's kind of lame to look for causes, but if you feel like putting up with my lameness long enough to give me some ideas...

Well, you can raid a Scientology Church along with Anon. Or, you can raid the raid (i suggest this one).

Or, the Tea Parties are pretty good. They have Ted Nugent shredding his guitar and a bunch of people who love Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln. So if you believe in smaller government, the Tea Party protests are for you.

If you love animal rights but don't want to have sex with animals, ASPCA is good. If you do want to have sex with animals, i suggest PETA (people for the erotic touching of animals).

Hate annoying crying babies in movie theaters? Join the Pro-Choice movement!

Hate women who don't shave their legs and try to cut the dicks off of men? Join the pro-life movement!

Side: Tea Party

If you're into animals the ASPCA always has one type of protest or another one can get involved with. Just check out their site. http://www.aspca.org or .com.

Well, you can kill for peace or make love virginity, you know, something like that ;)

This is the problem today. People [mostly young people] just want to protest something. So they are obviously going to go with some kind of flow without taking the time to form an opinion. So whatever they know to be cool on T.V. or in the music they listen to is the direction they will go in.

This is the recipe for a liberal protester.

Actually, I do take the time to form an actual opinion. If you have a conversation with me, I think you'll find that. Yes, I do want to protest something, but only for a cause in which I actually believe.

You know what the problem is with today? It's not people wanting to find a cause. It's people making judgments about people they don't know.

Haha, how quick you are to write off those who agree with you.

You claim that those who are liberal protesters haven't formed their own opinion? Have you ever heard of psychological projection?

On the contrary, the problem today is that nobody cares enough to stand up for what they believe in. Or perhaps nobody believes in anything strongly enough to stand up for it.

At any rate, we need people who are willing to not just form an opinion but actually act on it.

This is the recipe for social change.

Me being a young person takes offence to that. Any one older than what would be considered a "young adult" seems to have this perception that all young people just go with the flow or just want to protest, as you put it. Ont the other hand i support one momvement not whats cool. I support the movement against our goverment for several logical reason i came up with on my own. Not something someone else has said that "sounded cool". Dont be so quick to judge us all just because a few of us just want to cause mayhem out of fun.
