If God wants me in Hell, why am I not there yet?

If God wants me in Heaven, why is life so mingled with toil, pain, tears, and evil?

Because life is a challenge. And how we approach the challenge defines who we are and what we can be, and we are judged accordingly.

NowASaint(1380) Clarified

Yes, you are judged, you are in condemnation of death. If you think you can challenge it, why can't you win?

NowASaint(1380) Disputed

You can't win life as a challenge, you are lost no matter how hard you try to change life into a challenge, all you are doing is dying and that is not living.

NowASaint(1380) Clarified

So you are keeping yourself out of Hell by taking the challenge of life like taking a bull by it's horns? So how come you can't get yourself out of dying if you are up to the challenge of life to keep yourself out of Hell?

You know why you are banned, don't you? It's because you are a friend of witches and strong in your belief that you are too good to be left in the fire of Hell even for a moment, and you are annoying in your rebellion. If you think you can handle the challenge of dying and you think you earn or have the right to exist outside of Hell, you are losing everything. Your pride is keeping you in defiance of God and it's sin, it's taking you to Hell and only God the Savior, Jesus Christ can get you out of it if you will repent of all your sin together at once, seek God's mercy, believe on His Son who conquered death and offers forgiveness to all who will receive Him by faith as He is, God the Creator who died for our sins and rose from the dead bodily to save all who will trust in Him. You are on the outside of God's will, doing your own thing going your own way, making your own rules and making yourself to be your own god. I really feel sorry for you, I try to make this as personal as I can for you, I have no pleasure in seeing you go your own way in dying, no pleasure in the thought of you ending up in Hell........I keep on believing that if I somehow manage to say the right thing at the right time, the light switch in your brain will come on and you will see the truth of God's love in the risen Savior who died for you...but realistically, Jesus Christ Himself could never get the point across to most people and they crucified Him for his efforts in trying to get them to see the truth.

Hello, Saint:

Here's the crazy thing about Christians... They can live a VILE life, and at the very last minute, ask for forgiveness, and get it..

From THIS atheists perspective, if you live a VILE life, and there IS a hell, no matter HOW much you plead for mercy at the end, you're going to HELL, buddy. And, that's the way it SHOULD be.

I guess it depends on persons perspective with Christianity. Simply saying "oops my bad, sorry" doesn't get you forgiveness. You have to truly feel it in your heart. God would know if you are just asking forgiveness without feeling genuine sorrow for your actions.

Everyone leads a "vile life", from Christians to Atheists. The difference is that Christians humble themselves before God and Atheists do not, thus they have chosen to not spend eternity with Him, so they don't. He lets you choose. And atheists have chosen to be seperated from Him. So He gave them what they demanded.

And besides, He knows if someone is bluffing, mocking or "faking it". He never plays the fool. There is no magic potion. Either you come to Christ legitimately or you do not.

I do not lead a vile life, I live a life of holiness fearing and serving God. Christians are supposed to be different, not do the sinful things lost people do, not talk the sinful way they talk, not go the sinful places they go. If you are leading a vile life you need to repent of your sin and get the unholy garbage out of your life.

I"m lifting your ban here to allow you at least one response, and if you show yourself constructive in conversation and not profane or vulgar, I will not reinstate the ban. Read my reply carefully and respond accordingly please.

I would have to agree with you, if a person is leading a vile life it does appear that they are on their way to Hell. The truth of the matter is we have all lived a vile life in the sight of God who sees our thoughts and knows everything we have ever said, done, thought, or imagined everywhere we have ever been. Jesus called His own disciples "evil" while they were following Him around listening and watching Him and doing their best to do what He said they were to do and avoid doing what He said they should not do.

Christian means a person who believes in the Messiah, the word "Christ" means "Messiah". The prophets and judges in the Old Testament believed in the Messiah and looked forward to His arrival, yet some of them went off in erroneous beliefs and ungodly actions...for example Solomon who loved many women and whose heart was turned away from God by the ungodly women he loved, and Samson who also had a problem with lust for beautiful women. Both of these men of God repented of their sin toward or at the end of their lives and they are in Heaven, Samson was mentioned in what is called "The Hall of Faith" in the book of Hebrews for his heroic self-sacrificing actions in the name of the Lord at the end of his life.....yet Samson and Solomon both missed out of a lot of blessings they would have been rewarded for in Heaven if they had lived godly lives and not allowed themselves to be pulled astray by their lust.

It's true, if you honestly seek God's forgiveness with your dying breath, calling out to Him in the name of His Son who died for you, asking for His mercy, believing Christ died for your sins and rose from the dead willing and able to forgive you of the sins He died for, you will be forgiven...but why wait until the last moment to start believing God, why not show by your manners in all areas of conduct that you have believed and why not live a life of thankfulness to your Creator and Savior obeying Him, striving to please Him by doing what He says you should do and avoiding what He says you should not do..........assuming you have at some point believed on Christ and are saved.....that applies to people who claim to be Christians, atheists simply believe they can do whatever in the name of Hell they feel like doing whether good or evil.

What seems to be crazy to you is that God actually forgives sinners, and there are sinners in this world you can point to who seem by comparison to be more vile than you yet they claim to know God has forgiven them of all their sin. Now, if they are living a perverted lifestyle like Solomon or Samson did for a while it does appear that they are not forgiven and do not care about being forgiven....and yet they are God's children and He will punish their sins while they remain His children. God has made a covenant open to all who will believe and trust in Him, a covenant He signed with His own blood promising forgiveness to all who come to Him seeking mercy and believing on His Son. God's covenant cannot secure the behavior of sinners, it can only promise that He will keep His end of the bargain and that is to forgive all who are covered by the blood of His Son, a covering they receive when they come to Him in faith, siding with Him against all of their sin, and believing on His resurrected Son who is God the Creator who died for our sins to be our Savior. Anybody who really believes should be against their own sin as their sin is what nailed Christ to the cross. If our child died by a weapon in the hands of an evildoer, we would not keep the weapon that killed our child as a conversation piece on our mantle, and we should not continue in the sins for which our Savior died as those sins are like the weapon that killed our child. This is why I doubt that Brontoraptor is a child of God, because he promotes and engages in all kinds of ungodly entertainments which promote the world which hates God.

Hello,

I can certainly see your point and in some cases I agree. If my child were murdered by someone, I wouldn't want to see the murderer in Heaven, even if he genuinely felt sorrow for his actions.

I think it depends on the type of sorrow. Is it one where it is motivated by selfish reasons? "I'm sorry, so sorry for what I did" (because I don't want to be punished for it). Or is it true, gut wrenching "I deserve the punishment I get, the sorrow I have for my actions are eating me alive inside and I deserve it."

I think if Hitler (extreme example I know but his actions were VILE) were to meet God and have sorrow for his actions he will still go to hell. If you knowingly break a commandment repeatedly, if you go through life intentionally causing suffering to others, it doesn't really matter what you feel in the end. You dedicated your life to everything God is against.

Does that make sense? I hope I didn't make it too convoluted, this is just my feeling.

God gave His Son to die for your sins, it was your sins that nailed Him to the cross and God wants you to believe He did it for you and that He rose from the dead bodily offering forgiveness to all who repent of their sins and believe on Him. Receive Him by faith as your Savior and you will be the murderer forgiven and in Heaven forever. Reject Him whose blood would be the covering for your sins and you will stand in judgement in front of God with His blood on your hands and you will be cast away forever into the lake of fire which is the second death, much like the death you are in now but with nothing to indicate God is good, only the fire of His wrath against sin to consume you and contain your words forever.

Amen. That's good preaching.

Please read my reply though I banned you due to your tendency to be profane and vulgar in speech. I don't want to see any of that from you here.

Yes, it is a good question and there is one correct answer: God does not want you in Hell or you would be there now, God wants you to be forgiven.

You can't be forgiven if you will not stop opposing God, you can't be forgiven if you will not believe He took your sins on Himself and died for you, in your place, so that you can have life with Him, through Him, by Him as He is risen from the dead offering forgiveness to all who will turn against their sins and believe on Him.

You are not burning in Hell now because God is showing you mercy. He will not show you mercy forever if you will not repent of your sins and trust in the Savior and receive Him by faith as He is, the Living God. Believe, ask God in Jesus' name to save you from Hell, receive Jesus by faith as your Savior and you will be saved.

Apparently you missed the topic question. Repeat: The question is, if God wants you in Hell, why are you not there yet? Is that question too difficult for you to answer?

Please tell me how bad you are that God is killing you. You need to be concerned about yourself, you are condemned and need to find God's mercy or you wont' have it and you will end up in Hell. Trying to accuse God of being unrighteous will not do you any good.

God promised to never again destroy the world by flood, the next time it is going to be by fire....and you will be in that fire or in the fire of Hell if you will not believe God does not want you in Hell and paid your price in death through the blood of His cross, and rose bodily from the dead to justify all who will believe on Him and receive Him as their Savior.

Not a bad reply though it's hard for me to see any truth in it. God does not give chances. You are not in Hell because God does not want you in Hell. It's that simple. God gives you time to repent of your sin and believe on His Son to be saved from Hell, limited time. If you will not repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved before your time runs out, your fate is already determined and that will be in the only place God has for sinners....the fire of Hell.
