From the perspective of every other known species, we must be the most evil, terrifying and cruel species imaginable. We are literally the only animal that cares at all how our food feels. Why? Why are you terrified by the highly unlikely odds you will be snatched and probed by aliens? And if indeed they did snatch and probe you, as long as they let you go after to live the rest of your life why would you remain terrified? Don't most animals which humans tag and study go back in the wild and basically live the rest of their lives pretty normally, even if they have a tag hanging off them?
