Before I can answer that, I have to know what exactly went down.

How did you ruin the friendship?

What happened was another person got hold of my email account, and sent an email to one of my best friends, well you get the point not this person wont forgive me even when i tell them it wasnt me that sent the email.

A way you could unfold the truth, would be to send a message to the person responsible ,asking why they did this to you.And then hopefully they might reply with a text that confirms your innocence and then you could show this to your friend.

Before you go about trolling for advice from strangers on the internet, you should talk to someone real. You'll get no real solace from strangers.

Completely agree with Pineapple. I had some issues with "friends" and I sought advice from my mom, my best friend at George Washington University, one of my other best friends at Rowan..... well you get the picture. It's better to get help from people you know.

Shoot, I'm siding with Pineapple, here.

I thought this was a debate on the psychology between friends.

No offense, but this isn't the site for advice.

(Well sometimes, but not in this case)
