If this was a conservative; he would have been defended by Fox News, the president and the whole establishment. He'd probably have been guilty of worse, and it would give every appearance of being worse, with more people involved at every level. You'd have kellyanne Conway making ten appearances a day saying that he did nothing wrong and that fraud isn't technically a crime. He wouldn't lose his job, and the president would tweet how the charge was fake news and/or a conspiracy by people who can't get over Hilary losing.
