If you can fight for your country you ought to be able to drink in your country.

The legal drinking age within the United States is 21 years of age, while any American can enlist and die for their country at the age of 18. If you can die for your country shouldn't you be able to drink in your country?

If I can die for my country I want a shot of whiskey!

The drinking age should be lowered to 18 anyway, I could care less about whether those serving in the different military branches can drink at 18. If the law is going to be changed it is going to be changed as a whole.

It should either be lowered to 18, or the legal age for smoking cigarettes should be raised to 21.

Side: agree

No one under the age of 21 should be in the military just like no one under the age of 21 should be able to drink.
