Both but the racist element is the people. It is the alt right people again trying to represent what normal moderate people with common sense are saying. It is changing the narrative... the normal guy on the street is really saying "what a tit Trump is for insulting people from poor countries" but it is some how changed to being that the left are denying the truth about which countries are poor and which aren't. It is funny. All politicians lie but the American ones don't even try to hide it - they know you will just eat it up. In that video he claims that the Trump sued government at Palm Beach for black rights. Try giving that a google. So.. if he is lying about that.. do you think he could possibly be lying about the fact that he isn't racist? Seems likely. Side: People
If you don't want the people here then clearly it's about the people themselves. But I do have one counter theory. Is it possible that a "shit hole" in Trump's eyes is basically any place he would not ever consider putting one of his rich elite properties? If that's the case then he probably feels the same way about 90% of the USA, too. Side: People

There is nothing to lament about people emigrating from their various shit-hole countries providing they don't arrive in my in my neck of the woods. As it is PEOPLE who turn countries into shit-holes it is a logical conclusion to reach that, depending on their numbers, these said same PEOPLE would, to a greater or lesser extent turn their adopted countries into shit-holes. If you would oppose to being injected with even the smallest amount of a disease why would you not object to the society in which you live being willfully infected with proven country destroyers?
