If you've been pardoned, do you lose your 5th Amendment right against self incrimination?

Your question is nonsensical.

Firstly, you don't lose the right not to be forced to act as a witness against yourself in future crimes if you've been pardoned for a past crime. They would be separate circumstances.

In the case of your original crime, then a pardon assumes you have either accepted some form of culpability, or the state itself has decided you are culpable. Either way, pleading the fifth against an accusation you have been pardoned for is pointless.

Hello D:

Of course, being pardoned for one crime has nothing to do with other crimes..

Besides that bit of nit picking, you nailed it..

Glad we agree on this. Your question didn't make it clear enough, although in fairness the space in the title bar is limited.

Thanks buddy.

Lol. Debunking pseudo-science is not something I do to make myself happy. I do it because I believe in truth.
