The government is out to get you, you didn't know?

This has been evident long before wikileaks or snow-

den showed how they listen in.

J. Edgar Hoover had a file on your older kin

decades before we gave arms to Bin-Laden!

Since men could think, there has been conspiracy.

it has shaped everything in history,

and it ain't one group, always people doing wrong;

some mean peace and love, dancing with a sing song.

Aye, there ain't no bigger lie than the state

claiming your birthplace makes it your fate

to be ruled by some incompetent nit-wit.

The world IS anarchy, don't believe the bullshit.

It's a war for your mind, a game of marketing.

Getting you to believe you belong to a thing

or that thing is you, a reflection of your true self.

Keeping you ignorant while they take your wealth.

Is it bad? Is it good? It is what it is,

that's how things are, it's a part of the biz,

and you can demand otherwise, but you'd be missing the point.

You are the problem! So go smoke a joint,

meditate on this, and go insane.

Not keeping it real is what's messing your brain.

No one in the world is a cause for your misery.

what are you? Some baby in a nursery?

Get off the milk, it's a useless addiction.

Now work your mind and create a little friction.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What's the game you play? What's the real battle?
You let others decide, you are no better than cattle
So don't believe in me, I am a frog, just a fool...
But believe in me, I can point you to the tool,
and the Truth that will set you free.
The tool will help you to see.
You can calculate the math, a neat grid.
Construct an epic poem like the Iliad.
No matter how you state it, it isn't true,
but a reflection of a part of you.
Yet a reflection is just one sense of vision.
The sound, the smell, you don't get a smidgen.
Yet even with that, you have a limitation.
They are all abstractions, all sensation
you can always break it down, there is no end.
This rift in our knowledge, how can it mend?
By accepting our ignorance and realize the game.
it's my mind? it's our mind? What's its name?
It is what it is, so accept it and adapt.
Don't take things too seriously, or else you'll snap.
So be unserious about your seriousness,
because man is pretentious, and life mysterious.
You're much better than GoodListener
Nice work frog man.
You should rap battle him about the Illuminati
I'm enjoying ya'll having that rap battle. It is entertaining, for sure.
Thumb in the air, sticking to the interstate.
This is America, it's corporate fate.
Where it's all the same, all the big chains
with big signs you can see from the driving lanes.
It starts there, and it spreads out.
It's the same with the malls, what's that about?
So is it all done The battle already won?
The franchise on top, decades of competitive fun
settled as from the smoke rises those arches...
The same hardware store an supermarket everyone marches
in and out, cause it's all about the bottom line.
Time is money, and people are completely fine
if they can save that dollar.
Look, I saved what I make in half an hour!
But those savings come at a price.
Oh, not to you, but to those who sacrifice
their souls so you can dig in those bargain bins.
Which in a way is like atonement for the sins
of these empires that work as economic engines
oiled by those who get paid enough to sleep in their car
or eat a bowl of rice a day. People are fine with that bar
being set so low. Hell, these days you don't feel you have a choice,
but in this day and age, money is your voice!
So next time you shop or eat out, take note..
That cash is the ballot, to purchase is to vote!
You know what makes a government legitimate?
Your vote, and these are the people who run the state
or even just the city. Who makes the laws?
The owners of business, and that effects where they sink their jaws.
If your rights interfere with business in their eyes,
those rights will be taken, doesn't matter who cries.
Public property isn't really public anymore
it is owned by those with cash, not the poor.
If cash is the vote, those with the most float
way high in the sky, in a castle with a moat.
Cause no one really participates in elections these days.
These guys aren't even popular, but we're just in a phase.
A transitional period of drifting in a haze
where traditional politics gets replaced by economics.
Well, it's always been like that, behind the magic tricks.
The real question is whether people can accept that,
because then we'd have a saner government, and we need it stat.
Yet there are forces at work to make us dumb and crazy.
It's in their best interest for us to be ignorant and lazy.
We can topple these strongholds, cast out these demons and with peace.
Evolution, not revolton, all we got to do is cease
to play the money game, that's how to fight.
Be brave enough to work towards what we believe is right.
A better world for tomorrow is what is I got in my sight
Some things I've seen all I can see of
without losing myself, keeping my eye on the real love
All eyes are mind, as are all ears, but
wisdom and knowledge are the shears that cut
the future from the past
throw out the hour glass
wasting time, make it go fast
be a glutton and a sloth, you'll finish last
and the last ain't always first.
a fool will find himself hurt
by regretting that which never got done.
Skipping out on the life of fun.
Keep busy, slow down time, ain't about the money
Ain't here forever, enjoy it when it's sunny.
Before you get old, your bowels all runny,
resting on your life's last Sunday.
Like a baby again, old man with a piss tin
you tell your story, will anyone listen?
You got a girl by your side who you be kissin?
Are you fighting the world, or fighting yourself?
Can you sit at the throne, and see you have wealth
of the spirit, the kingdom in good health.
Maintain like the tzar, you don't even need a car
riding on that shooting star, your mind will take you far.
Your life on par with the greatest in
the hall of kings, purify and cleansin
the shit your body sensin.
If truth be good, and evil be falsehood
an honest man will know what it is he should.
Do, adjust, and adapt to the environment.
Not every moral choice is locked in cement,
tied to the laws enforced by a government,
or what you think it was Jesus had meant.
What do you want done, what don't you want to happen?
Is that what morality is? Before you start flappin
your gums about what is wrong or right,
realize morality is not always blak and white.
We all play a game, have our own rules
if you don't follow your own, you'll join the game of fools
playing right into another's strategy.
being easy to predict helps prevent a tragety
in the game that is run by the elite select few
who make billions from making a monkey out of you.
But does it matter? Why should you care?
You do the same, it's all fair
because a sucker to one is a winner in his mind,
what matters to him is different, and you'll find
that the only way to win some games is not to play.
Because who gives a fuck about what a man has to say
when his mind isn't aware of the metagame?
Thinking to win means drugs, money, sex, and fame
which as an end goal turns out pretty lame.
Selling your soul so you can have the same
goals as the plastic around you, gargling shit without shame.
1 point
Life's dealt you a shitty hand? I hear the excuse.
But dwellin won't help, it's all mental refuse
that you let help weigh you down.
Can't seem to progress, always wearing a frown.
Maybe everyone seems to hate you, always calling you names?
Parents beat the shit out of you? Uncle played weird games?
You wearing hand me down shoes? Underwear too?
Can't even think straight cause your house is like a zoo?
Well you can't change others, and you can't change the world.
You can only change yourself, slice them thoughts with a sword.
The thoughts holdin you back, know who it is that is the lord
of your sacred realm. Clear the fortress of your mind.
Don't help? Burn it up crispy as a pork rind.
So your lover left you out flat?
your friend turns out to be a thieving rat?
lost your job? Can't pay the rent?
Dog got hit by a car? You sleeping in a tent?
Well, will complaining solve your problem?
Excuses don't help you solve em.
Why are you blaming the system or the state?
It's this way for a reason, and it's our fate
to go through the trial of achieving self rule.
But the invaders are within, don't be a fool
and attack that on the outside.
You'll never win, castles made of sand, taken by the high tide.
Subjugate the world, still got spies in your palace.
The power corrupts, what poison hides in your chalice?
What matters is the truth,
and you gotta be a sleuth
fighting nail and tooth
with your mind so obtuse.
With lies, make no truce.
At least with yourself, honesty is the key.
It's the holy spirit that'll set you free
and help you see the way things be.
It'll purify like tea,
leaf from the living tree.
Ignorance ain't bliss
don't let yourself miss
knowledge sweet kiss.
Death's cancer cyst?
Beat it down with your fist
with a calculated punch, you ain't even pissed.
Just calm and collected like a precision assassin.
Maintain like the Tzar has gotta be your passion.
Got agents in the brain, CIA, Interpol.
Knowing yourself is integral to the goal
of being a good king. It's all about self control.
Fighting an endless war, and it can really take its toll.
But it can be won, keep your head up.
You grow into a dog, the enemy a little pup
skinny and starving cause you ate all its food.
Stops pissin on your tree, quits being rude
You've conquered yourself, living with a good mood.
"It's this way for a reason"
What's the reason? You can justify the injustice? I'm curious....
I'm not sure the particular injustice you are referring to. Your question can be interpreted in a few different ways.
Born into this world, thrown into a cage.
More distractions than ever, but it's the age of the sage.
Cause through chaos comes order.
Connect the dots, out comes a border.
Books about everything! The information super highway
speeds things up in this time and day.
Information isn't knowledge, but knowledge leads to wisdom.
The truth has been known for many a millennium .
Our knowledge makes us arrogant, so cock sure,
but a real man of science will throw that our the door.
Cause yeah, we know, know more, got a lot of tricks.
The kind of magic tricks that go with physics,
but do we really know what's going on?
It's a mystery, what we don't know is a ton.
Then there are things that can't be known
cause abstractions by nature filter what's been shown.
Our mathematics only look for certain variables,
so certainty is lost, we're interpreting parables.
You can't escape the grid, the human matrix.
The world we see is all smoke and mirror tricks.
Like boilin water, veggies thrown in a mix.
Now what do we got? Lost all the vitamins,
taste completely changed, and it all got softer skins.
Spinach in a can, it's all a smudgy lens.
Yet people believe what's in that can is real,
don't get how processing tends to kill
so much of what something used to be.
A plank of wood ain't nothing like a tree!
Yet that plank of wood is what covers the eye,
making it real easy to be fed the big lie
that anything is objectively known
when we're just playin a game of telephone
with an "objectivity" polluted by relativity.
It can't be done another way, and that's a pity,
but at least it works when it comes to utility.
Don't let it be a downer, this word of futility,
and never let this wisdom kill your curiosity.
Just remember, be aware of your certainty
lest you turn into someone who isn't pleasant company.
A fanatic who is too passionate to argue effectively,
can't hear the other side, not acting cordially,
overpowered by emotion, and not behaving logically.
It would be nice to have less in the system politically.
