I think young people should live their lives according to nothing less! Be whatever you can be and set it up that way through education and well laid plans. Surely, if you don't, then nothing is possible without planning and thinking about who you wish to be and where you wish to go in life. If you set it up that you don't go to college then how will the wish to be a doctor or lawyer come to fruition?

No. People should not be delusional about what is possible and what is impossible. A very great number of things are impossible.

However, people should still be ambitious, very ambitious at that. But regarding absolutely -anything- as possible (or desirable) is not a good idea.

It is impossible to jump from the Earth to the Moon...so...I disagree. Their are a variety of things that are impossible. However some things that seem impossible just need more time to be worked out. Take for example Terraforming other planets. It seems impossible now due to technology limits, but in the future it might be a very real possibility.

The saying is great. It's inspirational, it's moving, it's everything a good saying ought to be.

But it's untrue. Impossible means by definition that it is NOT possible. There is no way it can happen. Ever. Such as me growing gills and living underwater. That's impossible. Whereas becoming a millionaire is implausible. It could happen, but it's highly unlikely.

Nonetheless, I like the saying and it's a good one to remember when faced with tasks that seem impossible at the time. I'm just being semantical for the hell of it.
