I was in the Navy from 1960 until 1965.. I was on what they call a kiddy cruise.. I was supposed to get out on my 21st birthday.. But, because I was VITAL to the war effort, my tour got involuntarily extended.. So, I spent an additional year and a half protecting YOU.. I did it willingly, and I'd do it again.. You're WELCOME!

If you can COUNT, 1968 came 3 years later. I DID talk about my service plenty during 1968... If you had been in my audience, you woulda heard me.. 1968 was a banner year for me.. I got my private pilots license, smoked marijuana for the first time and got elected President of the Beverly Hills Young Democrats - ALL of which I'm sure you'll accuse me of LYING about.. Which, after I think about it, is kinda funny.

But, I see you don't believe I'm 74.. How old would you LIKE me to be? 27?? Ok.. 38?? Fine.. 55?? Sure.. I'm whatever age you want me to be.. I'm tired of trying to convince you.. It's STUPID..

But, you don't really think I'm lying about my age, do you?? You're just pissed off that I'm a decorated Vietnam war veteran, and you're NOT!! If you were any kind of patriotic American, you'd be THANKING me for my service, instead of calling me a liar.. But, I just consider the source..
