It amuses me when conservatives point to Islam's many transgressions against women as backward and then they turn around and try to ban abortion, contraception, sex ed, etc. And back pre-election when poll numbers were showing conservatives were going to lose because of women you conservatives started floating the whole why do women even have a right to vote argument.

But back to this specific debate, Iran and the Muslim world are indeed totally backward on womens right. So don't join them unless you want to be backward, too.
