Is Barack Obama going to fold under pressure?

No

No, he won't! We have already witnessed that he does NOT fold under the pressures put upon him in the entire campaign. That was almost two years of constant pressure under which he did not fold, did not digress from the mission nor did he get angry when baited with the highest insults to himself and his wife.

He is cool, calm and collected and I do not think he will veer in any direction that would compromise his campaign promises or plan for the future. I think his personality is such that he can take the blows but not fold. I see him as a very strong and determined man who will not lose sight of his responsibilities to the American people.

Not a chance. Did you see how he managed his campaign for the last 2 years? He was cool as a cucumber. He is an amazing guy, considering his fractured childhood, he is amazingly well-adjusted. He is a role model!

Like I have said before I think he is calm and level headed and thus i don't believe he will fold under pressure. What I am worried about is people watching him like a hawk waiting for him to possibly fold under pressure. There almost seems a desire by certain groups of Americans that, as terrible as it seems, want him to. Why, i think so they can make a point that Obama's self control has denied them; I think they're out for blood. I'm hopefully overreacting and certainly starting to stray off topic but the point is i think between Obama and any of the other republican candidates Obama would certainly win and not fold under pressure.

No I dont think Obama will fold under pressure. He is always cool, calm, and collected. He wouldn't have been voted into the White House if people didn't think he could handle it. Obama also has an experienced vice president and a host of experienced cabinet staff. I know he will do all right.

Obama is a smart man and he has been under pressure ever scenes he became a snider not to mention what McCain put him through as well as other candidates. So no i believe Obama will not crack under the pressure.

well, maybe. he is under pressure on both ends. the far left that funded him is putting him under pressure to support their wants. they're even putting up ads reminding him what they funded him for.

on the other hand, once he goes into office he's going to learn a lot about what he can and can't do... and he's going to have to decide on whether he will still do what he told us he would do.

can i say that he will fold? no. but the odds are against him right now.

He has lots of advisors. And Joe Biden's got plenty of experience.

Well, Rep...I hope the shock wears off after the January 20, 2009 becasue we do have a new President. He's going to surround himself with some good people and his advisors should be top-notched.
