OK, so what's your take on global issues (religion, god, international politics, capitalism)? You are allowed to post your point of view and create your own debate. You can also get a bunch of your friends to join and provide their point of view and debates. What's the problem? How can an American present and represent the point of view of other cultures? Why is it always America's fault? If this site were in China, you wouldn't even be allowed in ;) Side: yes

I agree with ya! There is no problem with it, just wondering if it was me or if the site really had a majority of U.S. citizens on it. Just sometimes it is weird to go into a debate with the preconception that everyone else will present views that are not so U.S. centered... and then find that you can't continue debating cause everyone is talking about "home". Yeah Im trying to get more friends to join too. It's a great site. Side: yes
It seems to me that most users are from the US, so it's expected that there will be a lot of US-related debates, which is totally fine. Anyone can choose to join only the debates which are relevant to them. The annoying part comes when even in debates which would be more "global", some arguments are presented strictly from the American point of view, completely disregarding the fact that other cultures and points of view do exist and do matter. I guess it's inevitable though, English happens to be the "international language"... Side: yes

Yes, I've been doing that and having a lot of fun in the process. Don't get me wrong, I'm not really complaining. I just get a bit frustrated sometimes, because with certain issues, I feel like we are missing an opportunity of drawing conclusions which would be more relevant to humans in general, and not only to people from the US. But I guess that's inevitable, because as I said, with English being the international language, any "international debate" would end up having more points of view from native speakers. Side: yes
