There are no contradictions in the Bible. No one has ever been able to prove it wrong in anything it says. The Bible also has much to say about how we should live our lives that are nothing but beneficial to us, yet most people reject. It talks about love and sacrifice. Concepts that many want no part of. In fact, it clearly points out every problem in the human condition as well as the cure. There is not one societal ill caused by human agents that is not result of doing the opposite of what Christ taught. Think about that. Side: YES!! 110% No doubt, NO EXCEPT
there are some very minor contradictions, however no fatal ones to be concerned about. some people have proved the false parts wrong, which just supports the theory that it was not directly and literally dictated by God into existence, rather it was inspired by God into Man to convey said messages, accounts, etc... there is a slight difference, but a rather important one. just because a message is slightly flawed by 3rd parties does not "disprove" or annul the original message. it just verifies that it was conveyed through other parties. no worries. i think this is the reason why so many people get defensive about this topic. if you deny that EVERY word in the Bible is directly inspired by God then some people think you mean that it is just a corrupt piece of work done by men, which is not the case. this also does not mean that we just pick and choose which parts of the Bible we want to believe/follow, either you read it completely in context, or you don't understand what it says or who it is saying stuff to... which is why there are so many problems with Religion (judeo/christian in particular). It may help begin this discussion by clarifying what you mean, by answering the questions in the title subheading. here's my starter: 1. I'm currently using the NASB (and i fully understand the implications of using edited translations of canons/compilations passed down through the generations). 2. probably not 100%, more like 60-40. with the author being in control and having to deal with his own personal bias, etc.. which may sound like a problem, but i believe God can convey a message even WITH man's bias interfering with His word. we can come back to this later... i meant what version of the BIBLE are you referring to? the King James, Catholic, NIV, etc.. etc... there isn't just 'one'. also ALL the things are False..?? not a single True document has ever been recorded??? that's a pretty impressive failure rate. Side: YES!! 110% No doubt, NO EXCEPT

But, you're LOOKING for the truth, and I pointed out that there aren't multiple versions of the truth.. There's the TRUTH, and everything else is bullshit. Having said that, if you're happy with SOME of the biblical stuff being true, I'm fine with that. But, that's not what your question was about. excon Side: YES!! 110% No doubt, NO EXCEPT
Some OT examples: When the Devil is talking Some NT examples: When an apostle makes note that there are things that are his ideas and not the Lord's. other misc: when edits/revisions/translations make errors when authors make simple errors of detailed info (e.g. names, places, numbers, etc..) nah its written by man and it is a false religion. I'm entirely convinced that this reality is spiritual in nature and that there is a possibility that consciousness is the only reason it exists. That there is only one consciousness and we are all sharing it subjectively. There is no such thing as death and life is just a dream in which we are the imagination of our self. What is god? Perhaps that which all awareness in the universe is fed into thus making me as well as you, just another manifestation of God from which there is no separation making us God right along with everything else. it was written by men. but who did the inspiration? was it the original authors? which men were around to witness the creation of the universe/earth/life/etc...? which men were around to witness the destruction of the earth? how did men know there are invisible things like spirits/angels/etc..? how does man know what God thinks/wants/exists ??? which men can predict the future? what groups of men can you ever get to agree on anything...?
