I think you meant to ask us if God is a megalomaniac. What is a melanomaniac? Somebody who is obsessed with tanning? LOL. The God of the old testament certainly was a megalomaniac. Worse, even. He was a petty, cruel, murderous, jealous, baby killing, loathsome, capricious, jealous douche nozzle. On a good day. LOL SS Side: Pretty much, yeah.

He is the King. And He is good. Obey the King, or be exiled. Why? Because He is the King and He is fair and good to those who are fair and good! The law of His Kingdom are the ways of peace. Romans 13:10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And even if He were not fair and good. He is King! Side: Pretty much, yeah.
God is not going to play a finger game. Jesus says this generation seeks a sign. None will be given it except for repentence. Its insulting to think Jesus is a parlor magician. You either love light or you love darkness. The door os shutting. His sheep know His voice. Maybe you will have an opportunity through great tribulation to save your soul. Work out you Salvation with fear and trembling. Its terifying to fall into the hands of God. Especially when His mercy hasn't covered you. The diff between you and me, I know what I look like and will keep going toward Him because I know His mercy. You have no idea of the contrast and without being covered in His mercy and cleansed in His blood, you will shrink back. And the embarrassment will haunt your thoughts every second for eternity. Side: Pretty much, yeah.
I think people marry for likeness of mind. A successful relationship is built on more than where you met. Ive never felt the need to be at a " pick up bar" I enjoy having a drink while out to dinner or dancing. I guess if we met in that venue if we had similar likeness of mind then I guess we would have still gotton married. 🤔 Side: Pretty much, yeah.
No you go to a debate site to debate ideas tgats why the have debates on views belifs religion politics. Why am I on match.com by accident or something? People who come in debate come on purpose to debate views. Sometimes debates challenge our thoughts and Im sure people learn things from debate. Are you drunk? 🤔 Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
Because it generates a lot of traffic ;) But I would be very interested if in 2017: 1. A meteor hit the planeg. 2. Trump does not become resident. 3. The big one hit California. 4. WWIII started. I mean, if nothing spectacular happens, I'll just chalk it up to another end of the world false alarm and go back to sleep until the next big scare. ;) Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
He speaks to me very often. I ask for understanding and He reveals things quicker than ever before. I love Him and all His ways and He has given me insights in even the why in many things. He is beautiful. And I am amazed by Him. His ways make good sense to me. And honestly the ways of the world are senseless. Id rather be a fool in the court of the Lord, than wealthy and wicked of this present darkness. It got sooooo dark in the last few years. Man"s true colors are bleeding through, and their stain has been revealed and they have become disgusting unreasoning animals. The time of full term or completion of the Gentiles is now. The End of Grace is now "5777" year in Hebrew Calandar. And the time has come, it is at the door! The completion of iniquity has reached to Heaven, and now its time for Him to set all of Creation right. His Kingdom eternal under the goodness of God. I can see He is grieved. And I can see why He is. He showed me the calculation of His judgement. And He showed they deserve every bit of it! And He greives over their loss. And I grieve also. Side: Pretty much, yeah.
You are NOT forced to obey laws ... it's just a good idea! You wont be punished for eternity for fornicating thy neighbors wife or not following the orders of some "saint" ..... or maybe for being a Catholic non Christian or peaceful Muslim. C'mon, really? Side: Pretty much, yeah.

The secret: He never treated HIS people like the Christian "God" treated HIS .... like those many Christian hill people in Tennessee who felt HIS love last week. We NEED laws to protect ...um...HIS creations(?). I see thousands every day that should have had protection! Many who just loved their "chosen King", but, alas..... we still need societal laws , and "regulations" that do far more to protect "creations" than the "king"! Side: Pretty much, yeah.
Worship who you like. You are uninformed. And you have basic misinterpretations at the core of your understanding of the Bible. And honestly it would take to much time to unravel the lies for you, and its not worth doing since you really display that you do not want to know, and you will defend false interpretations because you dont want to know. So go your way and think what you want to. I am interested in discussing reasonable clear and accurate information with people that have minds to reason. Which is few and far between these days. . Side: Pretty much, yeah.
So should lawlessness reign and abuse the others in the Kingdom because the King is good. Wouldnt a king be evil if he did not rule the kingdom for benefit of all? So if a king was fair to some yet unfair to others would that be good. Should a king excuse murderers and treasonous dogs and those who cheat and lie and spew curruption, would he be a good king? Side: Pretty much, yeah.

Do you mean megalomaniac? If you do my answer would be, I don't think so. I think that would set a person up for failure what with free will and all. A true megalomaniac wouldn't send His own Son to die for our sins, wouldn't have given us free will, and wouldn't judge us at the end or our lives. Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
Free will and freedom are slightly different. Once your body is dead, you are judged on your actions and punished or rewarded. (This is all of course according to what ever belief you prescribe to). If you don't believe in God or judgement then.....sure, you can explore the universe. Now. Which ship are you going to use? Side: Pretty much, yeah.

Luke 20:34-36 And Jesus said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage, but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage, for they cannot die anymore, because they are equalto angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. Ok, let's follow that logic. You be Gkd. Ready? Here we go. But God, there were so many religions, how was I supposed to know which one was real? And the were so many different interpretations of the Christian bible, how was I supposed to know which one was real? Did you know that the Jehovahs Witness do not believe in the holy trinity? And when you think about it, it makes sense. The father is different from the son. Otherwise Jesus would be like, "Me bless me." Every time He sneezed ;) Side: Pretty much, yeah.

"But God, there were so many religions, how was I supposed to know which one was real?" ◄1 John 4:1►New International VersionDear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because manyfalse prophets have gone out into the world. EVERY IS CAPABLE(GIFTED NATURALLY) OF TESTING If you don't know where to go yet.....then don't expect me to choose for you. But if christianity we can go to the next step. "And the were so many different interpretations of the Christian bible, how was I supposed to know which one was real?" 1 John 5:14►New International VersionThis is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. Psalm 25:5►New International VersionGuide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. "Did you know that the Jehovahs Witness do not believe in the holy trinity?" 1 John 2:22►New International VersionWho is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist--denying the Father and the Son. Muslims too do not believe in the trinity; are the jehovah witnesses then muslims?(they have a common believe) John 10:30- I and [my] Father are one.Matthew 28:19- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in thename of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: ◄Luke 3:22►New International Version and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voicecame from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased." "And when you thinkabout it, it makes sense. The father is different from the son. Otherwise Jesus would be like,"Me bless me." Every time He sneezed ;)" Isaiah 11:2►New International VersionThe Spirit of the LORD will rest on him-- the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD- ◄Colossians 2:8►New International VersionSee to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. AND CHRIST IS THE BIBLE(NEW TESTAMENT): THE WORD. John 1:1►New International VersionIn the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14►Parallel VersesNew International VersionThe Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and onlySon, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. Also proving christ is God Side: Wait..., what? No!!!

where did you get that commandment? "THOUGH shall have no other God before me".its inaccurate. again, thou not though. lol by having other gods man is inclined to sin... his first commandment which is "THOU shall not have other gods but me" is not a form of obsession but love; i think if god would mention all the sins that must not be done by man, then, it would have consumed a lot of pages...the prohibition of raping somebody is just a part of the whole commandment ;) Side: Pretty much, yeah.
I did screw up that quote didn't I? Oh well. So the first commandment is "THOU shall not have other gods but me." That is the first commandment probably because it is the most important. You can go and kill someone but God forbid you worship Shiva on the side ;) Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
Why? It's not like I'm going to make it to heaven. When I die I'll walk up to the pearly gates and St. Peter will be there and he'll be like, "You can't come in here!!! What are you thinking???" And I'll be like, "Why not? I didn't kill anyone. And God knows I wanted to!" And he will write a number on a piece of paper and hand it to me and say, "Because that's the number of times that you have used God's name in vain." and I'll be like, "THAT MANY TIMES!!! Well, God da...." and he will take the piece of paper away, increment the number by one and give it back to me ;) Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
Here they are: 1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me 2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image 3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain 4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy 5. Honor thy father and thy mother 6. Thou shalt not kill 7. Thou shalt not commit adultery 8. Thou shalt not steal 9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor 10.a Thou shalt not covet (neighbor's house) 10.b Thou shalt not covet (neighbor's wife) 10.c Thou shalt not covet (neighbor's servants, animals, or anything else) Notice that the first three (3) are all about Him. If that isn't a sign of megalomania, I don't know what is. And the last one has to do with not coveting stuff like the White House or the other party's electoral votes ;) Still, nothing about rape. I mean, I bet He's not happy about rape but OK, He'll let you into heaven ;) Side: Pretty much, yeah.

You speak blasphemies and you want to be in heaven? You're like a green snake in green grass: hypocrite. Am not saying you are going to hell but its certainly not heaven with this attitude(Annoyinly cunning than the snake)....probably your own way as you have always wanted .... Side: Pretty much, yeah.

All the fun you are looking for is in your flesh. You will have different feelings when you are in the immortal form. The desires of the spirit are different. ◄Galatians 5:17►New International VersionFor the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. SO HEAVEN WONT BE BORING TO A SPIRIT. Even satan master of sin(all the fun) fought to be in heaven. ON THE CONTRARY EVERYWHERE ELSE WILL BE BORING APART FROM HEAVEN.(THATS AS A SPIRIT) Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
Goodness of man is influence by God. Loving God brings out the best in mankind. Not the worst. So this is not a logical argument. The occasional wacho who is violent while stating they have faith in Jesus is obviously not characteristic of the religion of Christianity. Side: Pretty much, yeah.
What part of the 10 commandments are not good or unjust. To become American should we not require allegience and loyalty? Or are the flag burning treasonous Americans and the cared for illegal imigrants in the right? And sonce Americans are so tolerant has America become good and greatee than ever? Lol with SADDNESS! Side: Pretty much, yeah.
Think about this. I'm sure you have heard the phrase, "The world owes you nothing." Now, do you owe the worl anything? At the very minimum you will owe taxes. Now let's say you don't want anything to do with any country so that you don't have to pay taxes. Oh wait, you can't! Because every piece of land is "owned" by some country. How did they do that? They fought someone for it and won. They killed people and took their land. So what are you telling me? That God owns the entire universe and I owe Him and if I don't agree I'm going to be killed? And this is what you call God's love for me? He sure has a funny way of showi g it ;) Side: Pretty much, yeah.
Did you ever hear? "Our righteousness is like filthy rags before Him." What does it mean? God showed me what that meant. It is explained in this parable below. (Matthew 22) A backdrop the wedding clothes are coverings. Imagine Jesus legally purchased all the dust back from under the fall, our flesh that makes up a bodily covering for our souls. One set of dust is cleansed and made new, and in His nature. The other "garment" is like the nature of Cain, wrestling with the ground to produce "the best" and "the worste" of mankind's nature. Coverings, clothes, and garments, also in the law mentioned are garments made of two fabrics, this is a prophetic command for judgment against "divided hearts." See Laodecea in Revelations. And I encourage you to study these words in the Bible for more understanding. At the Resurrection He eventually ... (in two stages, I just mentioned for clarity purpose only.) Eventually all bodies are returned to each disembodied soul. Disembodied souls since the fall, these wander lost is the hopelessness and brokenness of man in the Hell in the middle of the earth. Jesus was the Bread who was broken for us, in order to make us whole again. This is Salvation. In case you ever wondered "saved from what?" So in the end when everyone has their bodies is returned to them, those not cleansed and made new through the work of Christ will be "as filthy rags" which is actually referencing "menstrual rags" (note: which is a state of being barren) And those have to sit outside. As it is written in Revelations, He says "outside are the dogs immoral etc... " . Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
Matt 22 - guest with unclean clothes. Jesus prepared the clothes with the invitation. The wedding clothes are required! 11 “But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, 12 and he *said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.” Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
And here is the nonsense. Your idea only works if there is one person living of the land within 100 miles of each other. So pick a few humans to spare and Ill ask what He thinks. Without God we are all potentially more horrible than Hitler. Your a decent guy. But are you influenced by good, or are you really good? Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
A megalomaniac is a pathological egotist, that is, someone with a psychological disorder with symptoms like delusions of grandeur and an obsession with power. We also use the word megalomaniac more informally for people who behave as if they're convinced of their absolute power and greatness. Your garden-variety egomaniac might be self-centered and overconfident but he's a little softy compared with the megalomaniac who wants to control the world. Perfect description of Barack Obama !!!!!!!!!!!! Side: Wait..., what? No!!!
